For newlywed Bianca Gonzalez, two of her biggest challenges as Mrs. JC Intal are grocery-shopping and "closet space." Of the latter, she elaborates, "...keeping everything organized is a challenge."

Bianca Gonzalez, Shell's 2014 Celebrity Driver, advocates for fuel efficiency.

Bianca is married to to JC Intal. When they are ready to start a family, what kind of car would they buy?

At the FuelSave Fact or Fiction Driving Challenge event held at the Manila Ocean Park recently, she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal): “So far, wala pa naman, but siguro, because we both like SUVs... SUVs naman are family and kid-friendly.

"So, if ever mangyari, magfi-fit din naman yung kotse.

“I wish lang siguro, we have car seats here. Di ba in the U.S., they are very strict about car seats?

“Dito hindi. Kahit nasa lap lang [ang bata] puwede, which is actually very, very dangerous.

"Siguro the car seat is something I would want to buy when the time comes.”

How many kids are Bianca and JC planning to have?

She says, “We've talked about this and originally, he wanted seven.

"Sabi ko, 'Wow, paano ko gagawin yun?'”

The reason JC wants a big family is because he comes from a big family himself—he has six siblings. On the other hand, Bianca is the youngest in a brood of three.

Bianca says they already have a solution.

“Ang naging compromise namin—siguro because we've seen our friends with kids, we've seen the gastos, how much school is, ganyan—we both decided that two would be good.

"I mean if we have two, we'd be more than happy.”

They're trying their best to put off pregnancy this year. But if it comes, they'll gladly welcome the blessing.

Bianca reveals that JC has natural paternal instincts. For some couples, they need to practice first. They first take care of a pet, a fish, or a plant.

In JC's case, Bianca attests, “JC is good with dogs. He's actually very good with kids.

“Like all of our friends na may anak, he's very, very good with them, ninong siya. He's a natural with kids.

"Siguro when the time comes, the only thing we'd have to do is baby-proof the house.

“Aside from that, they say kasi when you give birth, may lumalabas na maternal and paternal instincts sa mga new parents.

"Somehow, when you're looking at your baby, you suddenly know what to do,” she adds.

PET PEEVES. Bianca reveals her biggest adjustment to married life is coming to terms with her husband's quirks.

“JC watches a movie so he can fall asleep. Ako, I love to watch movies.

"Sa kanya, pampaantok ang movies, ako 'pag na-hook na ako, tatapusin ko.

“So nabubuwisit ako, tulog na siya by the middle of the movie; ako, 'di ako makatulog kasi I want to know what happens in the end!”

Another thing Bianca finds challenging is doing the grocery. They live alone with one household help and she admits, “Knowing how to do the grocery, yun ang isang malaking challenge para sa akin.

“We're very hands-on with things in the house. Ang hirap pala mag-budget ng igo-grocery.

"Yung how much yung bibilhin mo, na hindi ka mabubulukan, kailan lulutuin, paano mo i-space para sa isang linggo, ang hirap pala ng gano'n.”

And because she is a TV personality and her husband is a basketball player, Bianca is still working on keeping their stuff organized at home.

She points out, “Closet space, that's always a challenge.

“I have a lot of stuff, obviously, and JC, being a basketball player, ang dami niyang basketball shoes, so keeping everything organized is a challenge.”
