Paulina Sotto, 27, and husband Jed Llanes, 27, have been married for two years.
Paulina, a visual artist, is the daughter of Vic Sotto by former partner Angela Luz.
Being married, she has become more observant about relationships—what works and what does not.
Her curiosity has led her to discover that millennial married couples nowadays are struggling to stay together.
The reason? Social media.
Paulina says, "With social media, yeah, it's great for marketing and business.
"But I always say social media is so toxic. It is so toxic and evil.
"It is so much easier to stray, you know what I mean?
"It's terrible, it's terrible! That's why there are so many people separating, they're divorcing.
"They don't even have divorce in this country, but there are so many couples that separated and dating other people.
"So, I think that's the biggest difference. It's so hard to sustain a marriage."
Paulina adds that young couples are not as invested in long-term commitment as the older generations had been.
"And, you know what, that's another thing, not a lot of people want to get married anymore...
"People would rather, like, live together or have kids. I don't know. Well, I'm very old school.
"I'm very traditional, so I really wanted to get married. I want to start a family..."
Are she and Jed getting ready for a baby?
Paulina says, "Definitely. I have been on that track since a child.
"Seriously, I remember being a toddler, I would pretend to get pregnant, I would pretend to give birth—you know what I mean?
"That's really my long-term goal. So, probably sometime soon.
"If it was up to my husband, we would have, like, around a million kids already.
"He really, really wants kids already. He's just waiting for me.
"Am like, 'No uterus, no opinion. You wait for me! You wait for me to be ready.'
"But I think I'm getting there. I'm already 27, so, definitely some time before turning 30. God willing, of course."
At present, Paulina seems to channel her maternal instincts toward her baby sister, Tali, the daughter of her dad and his wife Pauleen Luna.
