What are the secrets to Gabbi Garcia’s glowing skin?
On top of her must-have products is moisturizer, which is also her mom Tes Lopez's beauty staple.
"Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize” is something she learned from Mommy Tes, who can be easily mistaken for Gabbi's sister.
The 24-year-old star says, “Because my mom has really good skin, and I've been asking her what she did when she was young.
“And sabi niya sa akin, she was just really religious when it comes to applying her skin care.
“And moisturize lang talaga the whole arms, legs, and everything.
“So I carry that until today. So ano talaga, I make sure that I never leave the house without applying lotion, without applying my skin care.”

At the LazBeauty's Dream Lounge x LazAffiliates event held at Sampiro in Makati City on September 21, 2023, she also swears by the importance of sunscreen "kahit na hindi maaraw."
She tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and Philstar.com in an interview. "Because we, Pinoys, di ba, we have this notion na hindi naman maaraw. We don't need sunscreen.
“But I still apply everyday because we don't want to damage your skin.”

Having a “good base,” which is essentially “magandang skin kahit walang make-up” is what Gabbi aims to achieve by using the “right” products.
She stresses, “It doesn't always have to be expensive. Kailangan hiyang ka lang.
"So you just have to find the right products for you. Hindi lahat kailangan mahal.”
In her case, after many rounds of trying and testing many products, she has proven that “local" brands are actually good.

“It’s good to have go-to product when you suddenly have a pimple or your skin becomes oily.
"And yes, it's also nice to ask friends for recos and try if it will work for you."
