On December 5, 2025, a local Reddit community shared a photo of Jasmine taken at Atelier Debbie Co's La Fleur Holiday '25 Trunk Show, and titled it with, "Anong nag bago sa face niya?"
The description read: "If hindi ko pa binasa yung caption unang tingin hindi ko maiisip na si Jasmin Curtis pala. Parang nose niya?"

Several comments under the post echoed the original poster's observation about the 31-year-old actress' new look.

JASMINE CURTIS-SMITH DENIES GETTING BOTCHED SURGERY
As the conversation gained traction, it eventually reached Jasmine herself.
Rather than let the rumor mill churn, she addressed it directly through X (formerly Twitter), offering a clear explanation for what people perceived as "changes."
She wrote: "I've seen the Reddit rumor and comments. No I haven't gotten anything done to my face.
"I have gained 6kgs from my recent trip to Australia and have been crying on and off for a few days.
"Hope this settles and cures your curiosities."
Jasmine added that the reactions to her appearance reveal how quickly people police women's bodies through baseless conclusions.
"I gain a little and apparently I got botched work done, I lose a little and l've got an eating problem," she expressed.
"Not trying to win over anyone but it's bothersome to read the comments."
