Korina Sanchez is thrilled that her twins Pepe and Pilar are finally baptized.
"Sa wakas! The twins' baptism!" she exclaims in her latest Instagram post.
"Took awhile although they were blessed three times prior. Tuwang tuwa kami.
"But mas tuwang tuwa si Pepe en Pilar. They loooooved being outdoors.
"Himala. No crying AT ALL. Kahit mainit sa simbahan! And even when they were blessed with water over their heads and Pepe was asleep. No incident."
The ABS-CBN veteran journalist is "so proud" of her "two new angels on earth."
The baptism, which appeared to have been held this morning, August 1, was a "quiet and simple" family event.
Korina and husband Mar Roxas chose their nephews and nieces to be Pepe and Pilar's godparents.
The Rated K host writes in another Instagram post, "We wanted more ninongs and ninangs then realized we needed to choose guardians from the younger generation of our families.
"So here are most of the nephews and nieces from both sides. Including the youngest ones Meila and Miguel."
Only two godparents were unable to attend the christening: Jay, who is based in Japan, and Paolo, who is based in the U.S.. The latter is Mar's son by former partner Maricar Zaldarriaga.
Born on February 12, 2019 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Pepe and Pilar were first blessed in March.
Korina and Mar annnounced they are parents to twins Pepe and Pilar on February 21.
