Hindi makapaniwala si Andrea del Rosario na ganap nang teenager ang kanyang unica hija na si Beatrice Anne or Bea.
Nag-turn 13 si Bea noong nakaraang May 28, 2023, at pinost ni Andrea sa Instagram ang surprise birthday video para sa anak.
Ang caption niya: "Happy birthday to my most favorite person in the [globe emoji]!!! I love you with all of my [heart emoji] #birthdaygirl #13thbirthday #loveofmylife #teenagercake #teenagerslife"
Sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ipinagkatiwala noon ni Andrea ang kuwento tungkol sa mga pagsubok na hinarap niya noong isilang niya si Bea sa Chicago, Illinois, noong 2010.

Pagkanganak niya, inoperahan ang kanyang baby dahil sa congenital condition nito na jejunal atresia.
According to the National Organization of Rare Disorder: "Jejunal atresia is a rare type of obstruction of the small bowel affecting newborns. Patients with this disorder are born with a complete mechanical obstruction of the proximal small intestine."
Nag-50-50 nga raw ang buhay ni Bea noon dahil ilang operasyon ang pinagdaanan niya.
Pero bilang ina ay hindi nawalan ng pag-asa si Andrea.
Aniya sa 2010 article na lumabas sa PEP.ph, "Kahit na mahirap gawin, ginawa namin dahil kailangan kami ng baby namin. Gabi-gabi, pinagdarasal ko na mabuhay siya.
"Walang kasiguraduhan na she will be better after all the operations. My doctor was honest with me that my baby might or might not survive.
"But I was not losing hope. My baby will live at magiging healthy baby siya."
Kaya naman every day ang pasasalamat ni Andrea sa Panginoon dahil sa binigay na buhay sa kanyang anak.
ANDREA'S HOPE AND DREAM FOR HER "MIRACLE BABY"
Ang dasal ng aktres na makita ang paglaki ng kanyang anak ay natupad, at ngayon, isang blooming teenager na ito.
Sa naging panayam ng PEP.ph kay Andrea via Facebook Messenger nitong June 1, tinanong ang aktres tungkol sa hopes and dreams niya para sa "miracle baby" na si Bea.

Nabanggit ni Andrea na bagama't masaya siya na isa nang teenager si Bea, may lungkot daw siyang nararamdaman.
Pahayag niya, "I get sad sometimes because hindi na ako ang world niya. But, of course, I understand and ready ako for the next chapter of her life.
"I'm actually excited because sabi nga nila 'the world is her oyster.' I know she'll go a long way."
Pagbabalik tanaw pa ni Andrea, "When I turned 13, my parents got separated at that time, so my goal for Bea is to just have a solid family and spiritual foundation.
"I think this is the best gift I can give her before she faces the world someday."

RAISING A TEEN
At dahil nasa young adolescent stage na si Bea, marami na raw itong mga katanungan tungkol sa mga nararanasang pagbabagong pisikal at emosyunal, gaya ng pagkakaroon crush.
"Yes, there are a lot of questions but because she is well-read and well-informed din sa school.
"She understands naman the different stages in life and the changes she will encounter as girl as she grows up.
"In regards to crushes sa boys, yes meron na rin! Having crushes is part of growing up and this stage of her life.
"This is part of development. We just explain to her that it is normal to have all these feelings, but you dont have to act on it.
"That's why it is also important to also develop her spiritual life because it's all taught there that 'our body is sacred and is the temple of the holy spirit,' that she should respect her body until that special day comes.
"We always have this mother-daughter talk, and I am impressed on her views on Christianity."
Yung mga gusto raw ni Bea noong bata pa ito, wala pa naman daw pagbabago ngayon.
"So far, last time I checked, she wanted to be a doctor. I hope its still the same.
"She also would like to study in the US, so I'm working on that as well. As a mother, I will just work on these things for her hanga't kaya ko."

Tuwing binabalikan ni Andrea ang naging survival journey ni Bea, nakikita niya kung gaano ka-importante ang bawat segundo, minuto, araw, buwan, at taon na dumaraan.
At alam niyang may magandang plano ang Diyos para sa kanyang anak, "I feel God's grace everyday, every milestone, every stage of her life.
"Thats why I can truly say, we are truly blessed. That is why my birthday wish for Bea is always remember that you are here for a reason.
"And that reason is because God has amazing plans for you.
"Always remember that the only one you can rely on in life is Him and Him alone because mom won't be here forever.
"May you fulfill all the plans God has designed for you and May you live a life pleasing and of service to him!
