Celebrity couple Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano have welcomed their daughter Isabella Rose to the Christian world.
Isabella Rose, or Baby Rosie, was baptized on April 23, 2023, at the Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Makati City, as posted on Instagram by their guests.
In one post, former MYX VJ Nikki Gil, one of Baby Rosie's godparents, expressed, "Binyag thingzz [hert emoji] Love you Rosie! And your mama and papa too!"
Alex Gonzaga and her husband Mikee Morada were also Baby Rosie's godparents.
In an Instagram Story after the event, Alex referred to Luis and Jessy as "kumare at kumpare ko."
Star Magic talent Hannah Flores wrote in her Instagram Story, "[Heart] u always @jessymendiola and lil Rosie [rose emoji]"
Hannah and husband Stanley Cho were guests at Baby Rosie's christening.
Jessy's closest friends, who were also picked as ninangs of Baby Rosie: (L-R) luxury shopper Regina Abalos of @luxe_finds, Tokyo Posh founder Denise Aquino, talent manager April del Rosario, and fitness coach Kat Garcia of Body by Mama Kat.
The baptism reception took place shortly after the ceremony at an events venue located near the church.
It also doubled as the birthday party for Luis Manzano, who turned 42 years old last April 21, 2023.
Denise uploaded a video on her Instagram Stories showing Jessy surprising Luis with a birthday cake.
Baby Rosie was delivered via cesarean section on December 28, 2022, but it was not until January 7, 2023, when Jessy and Luis announced the arrival of their baby girl.
