KathNiel scene-stealer yet again!
On May 2, 2023, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo were among the guests at the star-studded wedding of Direk Cathy Garcia and her long-time partner, Louie Sampana.

At the reception during the traditional tossing of bouquet and garter, Daniel had the wedding guests holding their breaths as he reached out for the garter thrown by the groom.
As the wedding ritual dictates, the bride throws the bouquet to single women, while the groom removes the garter worn around bride’s leg and tosses it to single men present at the wedding party.
And the guy who catches is believed to be married next.
And so the kilig moment at this wedding happened just as Daniel caught the garter, and, following tradition, carefully placed it around Kathryn's leg.
Kitschy but cute, Daniel even wiped the sand off his girlfriend's foot before proceeding further.
But Daniel stopped pushing the garter farther up to Kathryn's knee and, looking at the groom, said, "Masyado nang mataas, pare. Ang daming tao dito, conservative ako e."

His gentlemanly gesture charmed the crowd, drawing cheers and laughter all around.
The moment was captured on video by the actor Janus del Prado, a close friend of Kathniel.
