This weekend, Robi Domingo surprised everyone with news about his wedding.
The host and his non-showbiz girlfriend Maiqui Pineda got married in Pulilan, Bulacan, on Saturday, January 6, 2023, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Robi has a special connection to Pulilan because it was where he spent his childhood with his mom, Dr. Mary Ann Eusebio Domingo.

The wedding was held over a year after the lovebirds got engaged in November 2022.
Robi and Maiqui exchanged wedding vows at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador.
According to celebrate.pulilan.gov.ph, the church, with its simple and elegant neo-classical façade, was built in 1829 under the direction of Father Juan Rico.
Also referred to as Pulilan Church, it suffered significant damage from two earthquakes—one in 1863 and another in 1880.
Father Miguel de Celis had it reconstructed a few years later, preserving its original structure.
For their wedding reception, Robi and Maiqui chose the North Polo Club at Big Ben Farms in Pulilan, Bulacan.
Big Ben Farms is owned by the Eusebio family—the groom's maternal side.
Pat Pastelero, part of Spruce Designs, was behind the venue's romantic setting.
While waiting for the wedding reception to begin, there were tents where Hors d'oeuvres were served.
Meanwhile, the events hall was adorned with Filipiniana-themed ornaments, while the tablescape featured vibrant orange and yellow flowers.
Before their wedding, the couple explored the polo club in early 2022 for a vlog that was put out on Robi's YouTube channel.
In the video released on May 1, 2022, Robi shared that the polo field at the North Polo Club was named after his grandfather, Dr. Paquito Eusebio.
He said, "This is called the North Polo Club... And people might be asking, 'Sino ba itong si Dr. Paquito Eusebio?'
"Dr. Paquito Eusebio is my lolo. So this place was named after him, and, yes, this place was developed by the Eusebio family.
"Every weekend, most especially, people go here to play polo."
Robi also mentioned that one of his favorite spots in the polo club is the swing.
He related, "This was the swing ng nanay ko nung bata pa siya...together with the siblings, of course, with Atty. Jun," referring to Atty. Jun Eusebio, the brother of his mom Mary Ann and the owner of the North Polo Club.
He continued, "But na-preserve nila ito, and now, it's here...And now, it's part of a bigger legacy."
At press time, North Polo Club does not have rental details about on its official social-media accounts.
Besides private events, it's also a location for prenuptial photo shoots.
