Maegan Aguilar reunites with parents on 45th birthday

Birthday celebrant Maegan Aguilar is overjoyed.

Just a day after her 45th birthday on April 9, 2024, Maegan takes to her official Instagram account to show a glimpse of her simple celebration.

Surrounded by her children and close friends, the most heartwarming surprise unfolds when her long-estranged parents—OPM artist Freddie Aguilar and Josephine Quiepo—make a special appearance.

REUNION WITH PARENTS

Along with a series of photos expressing her gratitude for the company of her parents, Maegan writes (published as is): "Mahal na mahal ko po kayo tay & nay.

"Maraming maraming salamat po sa ibinigay ninyong pagtanggap at pagmamahal sa akin.

"I am forever grateful to our God Almighty that moved hills, valleys & mountains just for us to be all together again."

Since May 2014, Maegan has had a tumultuous relationship with Freddie, marked by periods of estrangement and reconciliation.

However, in November 2023, she confirmed that their bond had been restored once and for all.

BIRTHDAY BLESSINGS

Back to her birthday posts, she also reflects on moments of healing and renewal.

"This is the first time, after a decade+, more or less that a birthday cake & Tatay, Jovie, my brothers & a kid of mine are all present for my special day of life.

"Tay, thank you po sa masayang bonding; Mom, mahal na mahal ko po kayong lahat."

She continues, "Thank you sa mga anak kong sina Zane, Jai & Mahi that always give me unconditional love.

"Thank you Jesus for this day. May God Almighty continue to bless us all and are families always. AMEN [emojis]"
