Naiyak ang isang nanay dahil wala siyang natanggap na greeting mula sa anim niyang anak nitong Mother’s Day.
Pakiramdam daw ng ina, hindi siya na-appreciate sa lahat ng hirap at sakripisyo niya bilang isang full-time mom.
Naglabas siya ng sama ng loob sa TikTok video na ipinost noong May 12, 2024.
Siya si Kelsey Mayfield.
At hindi niya inakalang magva-viral ang post at aani ng millions of views matapos lamang ang isang araw.
Ang atensiyon na bigong ibinigay ng anim na anak ay nakuha niya sa libu-libong netizens.
"I can't even get myself together to go inside and get a smoothie," ani Kelsey habang umiiyak sa loob ng kotse.
"As somebody who gave up their entire life, it just felt like the best, most rewarding thing I could possibly do with myself.”
Inisa-isa niya ang mga sakripisyo bilang isang homemaker.
“Not to continue my career, not to continue my personal development, professionally speaking, etc…"
Litanya niya, isinuko niya ang kanyang career life para makapag-focus sa pag-aalaga sa mga anak.
“And today, on Mother's Day, of all days, you would think that that would be the day where you would get the glow of all that effort.”
Bago natapos ang short video, makikita si Kelsey na namasyal at nagbitaw ng ganitong pahayag, “My kids are disappointing.”

Kinabukasan, gumawa ng follow-up video si Kelsey matapos mag-viral ang kanyang video, na meron nang 2.3 million views at press time.
Halatang good mood si Kelsey.
Sabi niya, “It seems I have unexpectedly garnished your attention and with the most embarrassing video possible.”
At ang ironic nga raw na ang video pa niyang ito ang nag-viral.
“Let’s just say I didn’t plan at all for yesterday’s video to be the one that everybody relates to, but what are the odds.
“I wasn’t intending for that video to reach such a large crowd, so there’s a lot of context missing from what you’re seeing there.”
Ang inasahan lang daw niya ay virtual hugs mula sa ilan niyang followers, pero libu-libong netizens ang nakisimpatya sa kanya.
Pahayag ni Kelsey, “Yesterday, I had a meltdown on Mother’s Day. I was crying in my car, I made a video about it.
“I was looking for all three of my staunch followers to send me a little love and a virtual hug, and that’s what I was hoping to gain from it.
“Instead, I got virtual hugs from like thousands of mothers, thousands, and some fathers out there, too.”
Pagtatapos niya, “I’m flabbergasted, I’m blown away, overwhelmed by the amount of support and understanding, and the amount of empathy that I wasn’t expecting to receive from anyone, more or less, the Internet.”
