Celebrity mom Andi Eigenmann took a nostalgic journey as she reminisced about her childhood birthday parties organized by her late mom, Jaclyn Jose.
This reflection came as Andi recently hosted a birthday celebration for Lilo, her daughter with her longtime partner Philmar Alipayo.
Lilo turned 5 years old on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

On Friday, July 26, 2024, Andi posted on Instagram, sharing photos from Lilo's simple "Fiesta and Flamingo-themed" party at their home in Siargao, attended by her closest friends.
In the caption, Andi wrote, "Lilo's Fiesta y Flamingo fifth birthday!
"Nothing fancy, just a simple homemade birthday celebration at home with her friends, both old and new! [emoji]."
Andi went on and added that preparing her daughter's DIY party made her appreciate her mom's efforts in organizing her childhood celebrations.
"Side cuento: Preparing Lilo's birthday reminded me of Nanay, as it dawned on me that every birthday party I had growing up, was literally DIYed by her.
"Each year, it would be held in our little home, just an intimate setup, with our family, my cousins and best buds.
"She would curate the theme, have activities prepared, and we would always have her famous birthday spaghetti along with other equally tasty dishes.
"Back then I didn't think anything of it. They weren't anything grand, no cool acts or fancy giveaways, like at the ones we would get invited to."
She continued, "But now, looking back, I realise how lucky I was to have a nanay as punong abala as she was, who, in her own way, always made sure I had a birthday to remember.
"Nevermind the materialistic aspect that usually comes with every kids birthdays. Nevermind the lack of an expensive gift.
"Each birthday I spent with my friends, laughing our butts off, pulling all- nighters fueled by our sugar highs, was a core memory for sure. And this is all thanks to her.
"I will always have a vivid picture of her mischievous smile as she takes a peep in my room to check up on us.
"The look of "ayayay! But go ahead and ransack the house anyways". [emoji]"
Andi concluded her post by expressing pride in continuing this tradition for her own children, complete with her mom's signature birthday spaghetti.
Andi wrote, "Now, I lovingly take pride in following in her footsteps as I do the same for my kids. Birthday spaghetti included, of course! [emoji]"

LILO'S BIRTHDAY WISH
In a separate post, Andi shared a sweet anecdote about her daughter Lilo's birthday wishes.
Andi shared Lilo's birthday requests, revealing she only wanted marshmallow-topped hotdogs, her nanay's spaghetti, her favorite cake, activities with friends, and a crop top with an ankle-length skirt.
Andi wrote, "I asked Lilo what she wanted for her birthday. All she said was: marshmallow topped hotdogs, nanay's spaghetti, her favorite cake, and some activities wit friends.
"For her present, she specifically asked for a crop top and a skirt that goes until her ankles.
"Unexpectedly, ang hirap! [emoji] luckily my sisters and I were able to spot this one in Manila!
"Not her size so I had to sew it to fit. lol she was soo happy!
"The cherry on top was how she'd tell me how fun her birthday was until the next day. [emoji] happy fifth, Lilo! [emoji]"
Andi's mom Jaclyn passed away at the age of 60 on March 2, 2024. In a press conference, Andi revealed that her mother died from a heart attack.

Aside from Lilo, Andi and her fiancé Philmar Alipayo also have a three-year-old son named Koa.
Additionally, Andi has a 12-year-old daughter named Ellie from her previous relationship with Jake Ejercito.
