Dimples Romana, a beloved figure in the entertainment industry, marked her 40th birthday on November 10, 2024—three days before her actual birthday—sans the usual fanfare associated with celebrity milestones.
She spent it away from the spotlight in the company of the children at the He Cares Foundation—a charity she often visits.
She told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an interview, “These children are children with a lot of dreams, and I have three kids.”
Elaborating, she shared that spending even just one day with those underserved kids and “making them feel that all the dreams they have in their heads are possible” can help instill hope in their young minds.
“Whether anak mo pa iyan, kaibigan mo, pamangkin mo, it doesn’t matter, the kids are our future.”

For Dimples, this milestone birthday was not about celebrating herself, “It might be my birthday, but this day is not about me,” she said.
“Siyempre, when you pray, you ask for blessings, and I already have that.
“A family, beautiful children, a supportive husband, a career I’m proud of. I’m blessed.
“So when you want to say ‘thank you’ to the Lord for all the blessings, wala naman akong mabibigay sa kanya na He doesn’t already have.”
With her heart and mind set on community service, Dimples and her husband Boyet Ahmee have embarked on “businesses that we believe in, that will better the lives of the people around us.”

These enterprises, such as their drugstore and pastry business, have been providing livelihood to those in need.

DIMPLES ROMANA's PRIDE AND JOY
Passionately devoted to her three children, Dimples is always on the lookout for ways to support them in becoming happy and fulfilled individuals.
Believing that 'success doesn’t always equate to happiness,' Dimples encourages them to follow their hearts.
Her eldest Callie is presently finishing her studies in Australia.
“Coming into my birthday this year, parang it’s not something that I felt I wanted to celebrate kahit na fortieth siya, kahit na milestone siya.
“Because, of course, my daughter is not here, she’s finishing her college degree in Australia.
"I feel very incomplete that she's not here.
“Pero pag nanay ka kasi parang nandoon na ako sa stage ng pagiging nanay na na-realize ko na ang buhay ng mga anak natin, hindi akin.
“Si Callie, wala akong problema sa batang iyan, she’s even better than who I am," she said, her voice filled with longing.

Dimples went on to describe her daughter as more mature than she was at that age, a fact that has brought her both pride and peace of mind.
“Callie is living the life of her dreams, and we’re there to support her all the way,” she said.
Equally beaming with pride talking about her two young sons, Alonzo and Ellio, Dimples burst out, “Fantastic! It’s an amazing experience!”
Describing her experience raising her two boys born years apart, Alonzo in 2015 and Ellio in 2022, she said, “It already changed my perspective of motherhood. I’m learning day by day.
“Si Alonzo is doing very well. Very smart, kind boy, very masayahin siya, very athletic din siya.
“Si Ellio, feeling niya dinosaur siya,” Dimples laughed.
"He’s okay. Basta kumakain siya ng pagkain namin, okay pa yun."
DIMPLES ON SUPPORTING HER KIDS ALL THE WAY
She reiterated, “We will support them however they want to live their lives,” which begged the question: what if they were to follow in her footsteps in the entertainment industry, Callie, for instance?
Dimples shared, "If Callie wants to go into showbiz in the future, we’re okay with that.
But she also admitted, “But of course, I’m scared.
"I know the dangers of this industry, especially today. But I’m here to guide them."
For Dimples, every day is a chance to live out her truth, that her greatest role is that of a mother, a wife, and a woman who continues to inspire others with her generosity of heart.
As she moves forward into the next decade of her life, it’s clear that Dimples’ focus will always be on spreading joy, offering hope, and living with gratitude.
Dimples concluded, "Everything now is just a bonus in a life that I’ve been given.
"When you’re given the platform like ours, wag natin sayangin iyon."
Whether it’s enjoying her favorite ice cream, seeing her children happy, or reflecting on the importance of family, Dimples is content with the life she has created.
"I feel it in my joints," she said with a laugh, referencing the physical aches that come with turning 40.
But she was also quick to point out the blessings of good health and happiness.
Dimples declared, "Forty feels alright. Very, very good."
