Ogie Alcasid tried to keep his composure as he waited for his daughter to walk down the aisle.
When Leila Alcasid finally appeared, the effort gave way. He wiped his eyes, paused, and looked on as a father watching a moment he knew would never come again.
On December 15, 2025, Leila and her husband, artist and rapper Mito Sibal Fabie, better known as Curtismith, held their second wedding ceremony in Antipolo City, Rizal.
The event marked another major milestone in a year that has been filled with changes, celebrations, and deeply personal moments for the couple.
Videos from the ceremony, including clips shared by Nice Print Photo, quickly made the rounds online.
One showed Ogie visibly emotional as Leila stepped into view in her wedding gown.

Ahead of the wedding, Leila and Curtismith also shared a series of heritage-inspired prenuptial photos taken in Taal, Batangas.
The shoot drew attention to Leila’s bridal gown, which was first worn by her mother, former beauty queen Michelle van Eimeren.
The dress had been carefully preserved for years, intended for Leila and her sister, Sarah.
Wearing it substantiated the meaning to a journey already steeped in family history.
Leila's Wedding Look
For the Antipolo ceremony, Leila chose an understated, elegant look
She wore a flowing white gown with a sheer, softly layered skirt that moved gently as she walked.
The silhouette was clean and romantic, with a drape-like off-the-shoulder detail that highlighted her collarbones.
Her hair was worn down, parted at the center and styled in loose, natural waves.
Her look was fresh and glowing, with softly defined eyes, warm-toned skin, and a natural flush.
There was no heavy contouring or dramatic color, just a polished version of herself.

Meanwhile, Curtismith opted for a modern take on traditional Filipino formalwear.
He wore a cream barong-style top with subtle blue embroidery, paired with tailored black trousers.

Ogie gives marriage tips to daughter Leila and her husband Mito
On Instagram, Ogie delivered a message to the newlyweds that later circulated widely online.
He shared seven pieces of advice drawn from his own life experience.
Ogie encouraged the couple not to be afraid of mistakes, failure, or uncertainty, reminding them that these moments often carry the biggest lessons.
“Mito and Leila, I have a few messages here for you that comes from my heart. Do not be afraid,” he began.
“1. To make mistakes as a couple, as parents when you make your decisions—we learn in life after making the mistakes.
“2. To fail or to lose—this is how you win in life.
“3. Of What life may bring you—you have each other as perfect partners to weather any storm.
“4. If circumstance seem insurmountable—march on. Life is really about peaks and valleys and this is what makes life exciting.”
He spoke about choosing each other during difficult seasons, about forgiveness, and about continuing to fight for love even when it feels uncomfortable.
“5. To keep fighting for your love for one another most especially during the times that you cant stand each other. It is all worth it.
“6. To forgive one another and to ask for forgiveness. This to me is the secret to a great marriage.”
He ended his message with a note of hope, telling Leila and Mito that the best was still ahead:
“7. The best is yet to come. I love you both very much.”
If the ceremony highlighted Ogie’s vulnerability, the reception showed another side of him entirely.
In another viral clip, he was seen leading guests in a lively sing-along to “Dancing in the Moonlight” by Toploader.
Smiling, relaxed, and fully in the moment, he transformed from tearful father to joyful host in a way only he could.
One commenter summed it up simply: “Parang happy ending ng comedy/family movie.”
