THE VENUE
Happy is the day that finds the heart at rest.
That feeling settled gently over witnesses of the union of Carla and Dr. Reginald at Almond Garden in Palumlum, Alfonso, just minutes from the heart of Tagaytay.
The 6,000-square-meter property offered distance from noise and expectation.
It is composed of three distinct areas, with its focal point being the Central Garden—a broad lawn bordered by rows of Madagascar almond trees.
The manicured grass served as the aisle for Carla’s walk toward Dr.?Reginald, with nothing to compete with the moment.

CARLA ABELLANA'S BRIDAL LOOK
Renowned Spanish fashion house Rosa Clará created the minimalist wedding gown worn by the bride.
A day after the ceremony, on December 28, 2025, the brand shared behind-the-scenes photos from Carla’s gown fitting.
According to Valerie Zayco, managing partner of Rosa Clará Philippines, the actress chose the Monica gown from the brand’s 2026 collection.

Crafted from mikado fabric, the Monica gown featured a square neckline, deep V-cut sides on the bodice, a low V-shaped back, and a long train that could be bustled for ease during the reception.
The gown is priced at PHP167,000, with additional costs for alterations or custom specifications.
Carla completed her bridal look with heels from SoFab, which drew praise from netizens for being both stylish and affordable.

The Kapuso actress later took to Instagram to thank the Rosa Clará team, sharing that the Monica gown was the only dress that made her cry the moment she tried it on.
She praised the care and dedication of the team throughout every fitting, giving special mention to Valerie and the seamstress, Ate Anna, who stayed with her until the reception.
Carla also revealed that her veil was custom-made for the wedding and later named after her—the CARLA Veil.
For her preparations, she wore a bridal robe by Janna Katipunan Atelier.
CELEBRITY GUESTS
True to the tone of the celebration, Carla and Dr. Reginald kept their wedding guest list to a minimum.
The ceremony was attended by an estimated 80 guests, made up entirely of close friends and family.
Among those present were personalities from both the entertainment and professional spheres.
Celebrity doctors Aivee Teo and Z Teo were in attendance, alongside businessman Steve Mark Gan.

Executives from All Access to Artists (AAA), which manages Carla, were also present, including Jojo Oconer, Jacqui Cara, and director Mike Tuviera.
Also spotted at the ceremony was GMA Network, Inc. Senior Vice President Anette Gozon Valdes, as well as actress Meryll Soriano, who is a close friend of the bride.
The couple was also surrounded by members of their trusted creative team, many of whom played key roles behind the scenes.
Make-up artist Mariah Santos was present, along with hairstylist Arvin Santos, who was seen wearing a white polo during the ceremony.
Videographer Sha Isaiah was also in attendance, dressed in black.

THE Wedding Vows
Carla on Healing, Faith, and Love That Returned When She Stopped Looking

“Sometimes the bad things that happen to us in our lives put us directly on the path towards the most wonderful things that will ever happen to us. Who would have known it was still going to be us in the end?
“Just when I stopped looking for anything and anyone, life surprised me in the most unexpected way. It felt familiar. It wasn't messy or uncertain. It was real. It was healthy.
“I once read that a great love story is when two people let go of one another only to eventually find their way back to each other.
“I can never imagine my life or what life would be had we never met again.
“I've never laughed so good, eaten so much, slept so comfortably, learned a lot about life, communicated well, been taken care of this way, and so much more before you happened again.
“I love you with everything I am.
“Thank you, Lord, most importantly, for now giving me the clearest answer to all my painful whys. For as a wife with a ring on my finger and a heart full of gratitude.”

Dr. Reg on Coming Home, Growth, and Choosing Each Other Again

“Hi, my love. You look beautiful, as always. It is that same beauty that captivated me since I first laid eyes on you.
“I can still vividly remember we were in, in high school. We were young back then. We fell in love, and then life had interim plans for us.
“You were as I remembered—kind, loving, selfless, God-fearing. We reconnected at the perfect time. We are now the best versions of ourselves.
“Having you back in my life made me feel better about everything. Everything is more enjoyable now, from our simple TV nights to traveling the world with you.
“Life is beautiful because you are in it.
“I was lost, trying to find myself. I was lost, trying to find my way home, trying to find peace. But ultimately, every single step was worth it. I’m home at last.”
RECEPTION
Following the ceremony, guests gathered at the reception hall of Almond Garden Tagaytay, transformed by Haiya and Flo Event Styling.
Lush floral arrangements ran down the center of the tables, paired with pillar candles and slim tapers.

Cocktails and food were served across curated stations. Guests enjoyed drinks from Manila Craft, while the spread included offerings from Ay Sauce Food Cart and Raclette Manila Catering.
Rounding out the dining experience is the delectable menu from Bizu Patisserie & Bistro.
Meanwhile, music set the rhythm of the night with performances by Acsions Band Wedding Musicians and Love, Jam.

THE WEDDING CAKE
At every reception, the wedding cake is often an essential component. Carla and Reg’s is a modern slab cake, sourced from Cake Studio, a home-based cakes and pastries supplier based in Silang, Cavite.
The couple opted for an all-white slab cake with minimal detailing, finished with soft curls and a restrained design.
According to Cake Studio, the design was deliberately pared down to reflect the couple's approach to their wedding.
Unlike traditional tiered cakes that prioritize height, slab cakes offer a horizontal presentation that feels relaxed, communal, and visually striking in its own understated way.

The supplier introduced slab cakes locally during the Kasalang Tagaytay Festival in September 2025, and Carla and Reginald’s wedding cake marked the eighth slab cake they had produced since launching the style.
Their particular slab cake featured a light vanilla chiffon layered with whipped cream cheese frosting, fresh mixed berries, and berry compote, finished with stable Swiss meringue buttercream.
A three-foot slab cake, Cake Studio shared, can typically serve between 80 to 100 guests, depending on portion size, making it an ideal option for intimate yet generous celebrations.
