Now that both of them are single again, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston give their fans something to hope for—maybe they'll get back together.

Jennifer Aniston turns 50 today, February 11.

But her pre-birthday celebration was held on Saturday, February 9 (U.S. time), at the Sunset Towers Hotel in West Hollywood.

Jennifer's close circle of friends partied with her, including Reese Witherspoon, Gywneth Paltrow, and Kate Hudson.

Of course, Jennifer's Friends co-stars Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow were there, too.

But the surprise of the evening was Jennifer's former husband, Brad Pitt. He came.

Ever since Hollywood showbiz sites broke the story, the fans have been asking: "Are they getting back together?"

According to reports, that was not the case.

A source reported to People.com that Jennifer "didn't really pay any special attention" to Brad.

The insider added that Jennifer "debated back and forth with friends if she should invite him" to her party, and she was reportedly "very happy he showed up."

Jennifer and Brad, whose marriage ended in 2005 following reports that Brad and Angelina Jolie were having an affair, have long patched up as friends.

In 2016, Angelina filed for divorce from Brad.

Meanwhile, Jennifer married Justin Theroux in 2015; three years later, they announced their separation .

Jennifer and Brad are single again and free to date.

But an insider of E! News online said the nature of their relationship was only "friendly" and nothing more.

The source said, "[Jennifer's birthday celebration] was a social evening with a lot of people who have been a part of her life. They definitely aren't dating or on that path. They are friendly, but that's it...

"They aren't a big part of each other's lives currently, but they wish each other well and have fond memories about the good times they had together."
