Kabilang ang kambal na sina Margaret Esther Cruz at Madelyn Esther Cruz sa 147 summa cum laude na nagtapos sa University of the Philippines Diliman noong July 2022.
Pareho rin ang kanilang kurso: BS Mathematics.

Ang kahanga-hanga pa sa kambal, sabay nilang natapos ang kanilang kinuhang kurso sa loob ng tatlong taon kesa sa usual na apat na taon.
Ibinahagi ang kuwento ng twins sa Facebook page ng Kumon Valenzuela Center.
Ang Kumon ay isang individualized learning program na nagtuturo ng mathematics, reading, at writing sa mga estudyante.
Saad ng center, nagsimula ang kambal sa kanilang learning center noong 2004, noong sila ay three years old pa lamang.
“Still in diapers then, Mads and Marge would go to the center and learn basic counting, reading and writing.”
Bukod sa center, pinatnubayan din ang kambal ng kanilang mga magulang pagdating sa pag-aaral.
“Growing up, they’re like typical kids who would venture into piano lessons, arts and anything and everything that they were interested in,” dugtong ng Kumon.
Saad ng center, itinuturo rin sa kanilang mga estudyante ang kahalagahan ng time management.
“They were able to study high school and college materials while in elementary.”
Naturuan sina Marge at Mads ng iba’t ibang math branches, katulad ng Algebra, Trigonometry, at Calculus sa murang edad.
“Completing the Math and Reading programs by grade 6 helped them to be accepted in Philippine Science High School (main campus), where they graduated with high honors in senior high school,” post ng Kumon.
Kaya naman hindi nakapagtataka na pareho silang kumuha ng BS Mathematics sa UP Diliman pagdating ng kolehiyo.
“What makes this achievement quite extraordinary is that they were able to finish their course in a record-breaking three years instead of four!”
Nagbigay rin ng update ang center na si Mads ay tutungo sa Michigan, USA para sa kumuha ng PhD sa ilalim ng scholarship grant.
Si Marge naman ay kukuha ng Master of Science sa Mathematics sa UP Diliman.
