Geneva Cruz has had her share of out-of-bounds comments on her social media pages.
And she has just about had enough of those put-downs — from "ang itim ng singit" to "pinakapanget" among the Cruz cousins.
In an Instagram post on July 1, 2021, Geneva reprimanded a follower who made a comment about her latest swimsuit photos on Instagram, telling her to "cover up."
The singer balked and wrote, "Yesterday, I was tagged by a female follower on a beach cover-up that isn’t my style.
"I appreciate your concern, Miss, but just because a fashionista wears something, it should be what I should be wearing too.
"Di ka na nakuntento sa comment mo na halatang bitter lang talaga.
"Just so you know, I. DON’T. CARE. WHAT. YOU. THINK. OF. ME. I will wear a swimsuit on the beach or at home if I want to.
"NO-ONE SHOULD BE SHAMED for wearing proper swimwear."
The photos taken in Boracay last January shows the mother of two lolling in the beach in red bikini.
Geneva also left a message to those who have nothing good to say about her bikini photos.
"To those of you who are annoyed that I like to flaunt my body, It would be my pleasure if you decide to unfollow me.
"I already said in the past that I would wear what I want to until my breasts are down to my knees."
Lastly, Geneva thanked those who appreciated her post.
She wrote, "And to those of you who get inspired to give their bodies more love because of my posts, I am glad I’m able to do that. [emoji]
"I’d rather have followers who see me ‘beyond the surface’. [emoji] I am never going to be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s alright with me.
"Thanks and have a wonderful Thursday! [emoji]"

In another post, Geneva wrote this line reprehending her bashers:
"To those two haters of mine… No beach cover-up for me as I was busy doing water activities; it was much more comfortable wearing only this. [emoji]"

Her post got the nod of her many Instagram followers, including one who gave her bashers a dressing down, "pag inggit, pikit."
