Marian Rivera has taken a liking to Schiaparelli handbags, and is updating her designer bag collection.
Marian owns the Secret of Schiaparelli bag and the Face bag, two of the French couture house's iconic brands in its Spring/Summer 2022 handbag collection.
She posted a photo toting her new black "Face bag" at a dinner party held on November 22, 2022.
The bag features gilded brass adornments in the shape of eyes, nose, and mouth.
According to the brand's official website, the eye embellishments were inspired by the jewel created by French poet/visual artist Jean Cocteau for the fashion house back in 1937.
The mouth, on the other hand, is "symbolic of the work between Schiaparelli and Salvador Dalí."
The price? EUR5,400 or PHP314,639.86 on the brand's official online shop.
Marian had the bag paired with her monogram Chanel dress, which is priced at PHP283,719 on NeimanMarcus.com.
The reimagined "Secret of Schiaparelli bag," also known as the "Bijoux Secret Bag," made a debut on Marian's Instagram feed on Saturday, December 3, at Arte Fino's event.
Like the "Face bag," this bag also comes with gilded brass jewelry studs in the shape of eyes, nose, and mouth.
The bag's iconic feature is its gilded brass toggle clasp in the shape of a padlock and is priced at EUR5,900 or PHP343,811.17 on the brand's official website.
The Kapuso actress paired it with her blue Filip + Inna dress.
For both OOTDs, Marian was styled by Melville Sy, Maita Baello, Shark Tanael, and Pat Pleno of Studio 24C.
Aside from the Schiaparelli bags, Marian already owns a few Louis Vuitton Capucines, Fendi First bags, and Hermès bags.
