Nine months after she was crowned Miss Universe 2022, Filipino-American beauty queen R'Bonney Gabriel has officially passed on her crown to her successor Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua.
The pageant's grand coronation night took place on Saturday, November 18, 2023 (November 19 in the Philippines) at the National Gymnasium of San Salvador, El Salvador.

During her final walk, R'Bonney graced the stage in a stunning red gown created by Filipino fashion designer Rian Fernandez, who had previously designed her winning gown for the Miss Universe 2022 pageant in January 2023.
R'Bonney's gown featured side cutouts and adorned with hundreds of red crystals.
Completing her look was a matching crystal-embellished head cover, adding an extra touch of elegance to her ensemble.
Rian posted additional pictures of his design on his Instagram account.
In his caption, he wrote, "P R O L I F I C Q U E E N. Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel @rbonneynola leaving an iconic mark in her Rian Fernandez opulent look during her final walk in the 72nd Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador."
