Bryanboy, also known as Bryan Yambao, is a strong advocate of repeating outfits.
Despite the perception others may have due to his luxurious lifestyle, the 42-year-old fashion influencer said, "I always repeat outfits. I'm all about repeating outfits."
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) posed this question during a round-table interview with various members of the press on April 3, 2024, after his contract signing with Viva Artist Agency.
The content creator cited environmental concerns as one of his reasons, "I think, especially now, we have to think of the environment.
"It's so wasteful if you're just gonna wear, you know, if you're gonna buy an outfit, wear it once, and throw it, you know, and never again.
"This whole mindset needs to change."

BRYANBOY: CELEBRITIES BORROW OUTFITS
Bryanboy highlighted that the celebrities who seemingly never repeat outfits actually borrow from brands.
"I think a lot of people are so inspired by what they see with celebrities overseas.
"A lot of these celebrities overseas, they don't own those outfits.
"They don't buy those outfits. Lahat yun loans. Loans.
"Pinapahiram ng mga brands. Pinapasuot. So after they've worn it, you know, they're not gonna wear it again."
Bryanboy then underscored, "We need to stop this mindset. We don't need more stuff."
Luckily for him, he didn't have to spend on most of the clothes he wore to events.
"...if I'm working with brands for endorsements, for events, of course, they have to dress me. You know what I mean?
"So, if it's a working relationship, you know, I borrow clothes... because they wanna dress me in the latest collection or the next collection.
"So, it's always an honor whenever they do that.
"And for me, I don't need to buy a lot of stuff, you know, because the brands dress me a lot."
BRYANBOY ON DECLUTTERING
Bryanboy's support for conscious consumption and outfit repetition may explain why he finds it difficult to part with most of the clothes in his closet.
He admitted, "I'm a hoarder. Unfortunately, I'm a hoarder. I know I need to let go. It's the Pinoy in me. Yung asawa ko nga. My god, naloloka na siya."
He was being sentimental that way, believing that "everything has a story."
But he would easily let go of his clothes when it's for a cause.
"If there's like, for example, like a world event, you know, that needed fund-raising, I take part. I give some of my old things. I donate.
"I'm very decisive if I really wanna let it go. I'm not gonna, if I don't wanna let it go, I'm never gonna let it go. So whatever I let go, it's kind of like, it's fine."
Otherwise, he continued, "...for the most part, talaga, for some reason, talagang, I'm keeping everything."
