Being out of the fold for too long is not in Heart Evangelista’s manual.

After her notable absence from last year’s Spring/Summer 2026 season, she is back and ready to join other style-watchers at Paris Fashion Week.

On January 19, 2026, the actress announces her comeback via Instagram, debuting a playful video inspired by The Devil Wears Prada.

The clip features Heart reenacting a scene inspired by Anne Hathaway’s character, Andy Sachs, while her mother, Cecilia Ongpauco, steps into the role of Miranda Priestly—the icy fashion editor memorably portrayed by Meryl Streep in the film.

“Momager has entered the chat [burning heart emoji],” she captions.

Fellow celebrities Bea Alonzo, Kyline Alcantara, Max Collins, Dani Barretto, Chris Nick, and Tim Yap all shower Heart with supportive comments.

Shortly after, Heart posts another reel highlighting a personal note from luxury designer Christian Louboutin, welcoming her back to the Paris fashion scene.

She also showcases the designer’s gift: a pair of his signature red-soled pumps, which, as Heart notes in her letter, are the star of the Louboutin show, paired with sparkly, ribbed knee-high leg warmers.

“You know when you're gifted Louboutin, you gotta wear it,” she expresses, smiling, before ending the reel.

Paired with the Louboutins is a structured and layered outfit: deep red velvet button-down jacket with a heart-shaped embellishment on the chest rendered in gold-toned metal and beadwork.

Underneath, she layers a sheer blue slip-style dress with black lace appliqué, and jorts or “jean-shorts.”

Accessories are kept minimal. She carries a black sculptural clutch with a chunky chain strap, reinforcing the outfit’s clean, monochrome accents.

As of January 20, 2026, Heart is already in Paris, sharing glimpses of food trips and sightseeing moments through her Instagram Stories.

While she has yet to confirm which specific shows she will attend, her arrival coincides with Paris Fashion Week Men’s Fall/Winter 2026–2027, running from January 20 to 25.

This is immediately followed by Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2026, scheduled from January 26 to 29.

Whether Heart plans to attend menswear presentations, couture shows, or both remains to be seen.

HEART EVANGELISTA ON SKIPPING S/S 2026 FASHION WEEK

As one of the regular faces at every global fashion week, it was heartbreaking for the Kapuso star to sit out the season late last year.

In an Instagram Live on September 23, 2025, she said her decision came amid public scrutiny of political families and influencers flaunting wealth online, with Heart herself linked to discussions about the ongoing flood-control corruption scandal.

On the heels of the September 21 protests in Luneta and EDSA against corruption, the Kapuso actress goes on to address her absence from Fashion Week and the chatter surrounding her name.

Heart admitted that it was not an easy choice.

“I’m sorry for my fans that I’m not going to Fashion Week,” she said, sniffling. “I know that you guys say ‘laban, laban,’ ganyan-ganyan. I really appreciate you.

“But honestly, I don’t think it’s the right time for anyone to, especially from our country, to be going to Fashion Week because I think, we need to be here.

“Not necessarily to be in the rally… but it’s important that we open our eyes, and we truly become one and empathize and really see what’s going on, and see what we can do.”

She clarified at the time that the break was not permanent: “And so, I will not be going to Fashion Week. If I’ll be going, maybe, the next season, I think it depends, but I can’t stop working.

“So, aside from not going to Fashion Week, I think I have other important responsibilities.

“I also wanna take this opportunity to say thank you to all the brands that understand and support me for me not going.

“And all the brand also here in the Philippines, thank you so much for just seeing my heart. I really appreciate you.”
