Lucy Torres and Richard Gomez
Lucy Torres and Richard Gomez are the enduring poster couple of Ormoc politics.
They married in 1998, after famously starring in a shampoo commercial together, and welcomed a daughter—Juliana Gomez—in 2001.
Richard went on to become mayor of Ormoc from 2016 to 2022, while Lucy served as Leyte’s 4th District representative from 2013 to 2022.
At present, the roles are reversed with Lucy serving as mayor, and Richard as 4th District representative.

Lani Mercado and Bong Revilla
Actress Lani Mercado married action star-turned-politician Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. in 1986.
Bong’s political career spans decades, serving as Cavite vice governor, then senator, and returning to the Senate in 2019 after his plunder trial and acquittal.
Meanwhile, Lani carved her own political path, serving as Cavite’s 2nd District representative from 2010 to 2016, before becoming mayor of Bacoor from 2016 to 2022.

Dawn Zulueta
Actress Dawn Zulueta married businessman-politician Antonio Ernesto "Anton" Floirendo Lagdameo Jr. in 1997.
Anton, who hails from one of Davao's most influential political and economic families, has been serving as the Special Assistant to the President under President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. since June 2022.
Previously, he was the Representative of Davao del Norte's 2nd district from 2007 to 2016.

On January 31, 2017, then President Rodrigo Duterte designated Dave as president and chief executive officer of the Philippine International Trading Corp. (PITC), a state-run firm involved in multimillion-peso procurement deals.
Their union brought Ara into the circle of politics. She ran as 2nd district councilor of Pasig under mayoral candidate Sarah Discaya in May 2025.

Helen Gamboa
Veteran actress Helen Gamboa tied the knot with Vicente “Tito” Sotto III back in 1969.
Tito's political career is extensive—he served as Vice Mayor of Quezon City in the 1980s, then as a long-time senator, senate majority leader, and eventually as senate president from 2018 to 2022.
After Senator Chiz Escudero was ousted from the senate presidency, Tito was reinstated in his place.

Yassi Pressman
Actress-model Yassi Pressman's current beau is revealed to be Vincenzo Renato Luigi Reyes Villafuerte, the representative of Camarines Sur's 2nd district since 2025.

During their married life, Alma became the First Lady of Parañaque when Joey served as mayor of the city from 1995 to 2004.
In 2012, she became the first female National President of the Philippine Councilors League (PCL), where she previously served as national secretary-general and national executive vice-president.
