The post showcased his latest creation: a Filipiniana gown worn by candidate Agatha Lei Romero at the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018 terno competition.
Taking inspiration from the Philippine flag, Paolo's white embellished gown had ruffled blue and red tails.
Romero completed the look with a sun and three stars headpiece.
In a brief exchange with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) via Facebook Messenger, Paolo talked about his fascination with pageants.
"Mahilig kasi talaga ako manood ng mga beauty pageants," he said, laughing.
'Tapos pag may mga friends ako na nagpapatulong sa makeup, styling ng isang candidate, tinutulungan ko."
The GMA-7 actor-host had designed gowns for Miss Earth and Binibining Pilipinas.
He continued, "Collaboration kami ng friend ko na designer."
Are we to expect a formal launch of Paolo the designer?
The Kapuso star laughed again, "Naku for now libangan lang ito. Minsan-minsan lang.
"Madami pa akong dapat matutunan kung magve-venture ako sa ganitong business.
"And I don't think I have the time para mag-aral and all."
For now, creations consist mostly of "gowns na sinusuot ko lang pag nagpapambabae ako."
Who does Paolo dream of dressing up one day?
The comedian simply said, "Sarili ko. Hehehehe!"
