Ogie Alcasid, has successfully brought his Greenfood gourmet tuyo business to Japan.
On April 12, 2023, the renowned artist—who also has ventures in restaurants as well as sound and light companies—proudly announced via Instagram the expansion of his food business.

His caption read: "We are proud to announce that @greenfood.ph is now in JAPAN and i am here with my partners upon the invitation of IBCorporation Japan to see their operations!!"

In Ogie's succeeding post, he wrote, "Just wanted to flex my partner @sushireyes because her original recipes gourmet tuyo and bangus are now in JAPAN.
"Flex ko rin my inaanaks and partners @tal.vale and @victorvale who have both worked so hard to let this dream of their mom @sushireyes be a reality.
"God has more plans for @greenfood.ph and his plans are good. to God be the glory. Thank you @ibcompany.inc for this golden opportunity."

Gourmet tuyo is known for its distinct flavor, and has increasingly become a popular product among celebrities like Nora Aunor, Matet, and Neri Naig.

GREENFOOD HISTORY
Ogie and his wife, Regine Velasquez, launched their Greenfood gourmet tuyo business back in 2018, and it has rapidly gained a lot of attention in the country.

In an interview with ABS-CBN's showbiz website, Ogie shared, "Meron kaming negosyo ni Regine, it's called Greenfood. It's gourmet tuyo na mina-market namin ngayon at sobrang mabenta."
The product's success in the Philippines motivated the couple to expand the brand globally, with Japan being its first international destination.
What's the secret to Ogie's success as a businessman?
"Sa totoo lang, enjoy lang ako sa ginagawa ko," he said.
"Tapos, sanay ako sa hard work kaya kung anuman, kung saan man ako ilagay, okey lang, okey lang sa akin."
