A Fruit to Suck. Chupa chupa, also known as South American sapote, is a tropical fruit found in the Amazon and other parts of South America. Lately, it has been gaining interest in the Philippines. But don’t underestimate this fruit--it’s packed with nutrients. Its name comes from the Spanish word "chupa," meaning "to suck," as the fruit is best enjoyed by sucking its juicy flesh.

WHAT IS CHUPA CHUPA?
