What’s the secret to Anji Salvacion’s leaner bod?
Some lifestyle tweaks have helped the Kapamilya star lose more than 10 kilos or 20 pounds.
At the Star Magic Spotlight presscon, she looked like Barbie—much slimmer than the Anji who donned a red midriff-baring gown at the Hot Summer LaHot Sexy Bikini Ball on May 3, 2023.

Around the same time, she mentioned the body-shaming comments thrown at her on social media, but she was unperturbed.
She told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at the event of Keds Philippines that happened that same month, "I don't care if people are gonna bash me. I just love my body!"

This manifestation of self-love also compelled her to make healthier choices.
Among the things Anji classified as “bawal” were the following: (1) Lack of sleep (2) Salty food (3) Super sweet desserts.
She said, “Sleep properly. Sleep well. Sleep at the exact time. Yun yung ginagawa ko…No junk food. Oo, walang junk foods.
“If you want na pumayat ka nang sobra, bawal ang junk foods.
“Bawal salty. At bawal yung super sweet, light desserts.”

ANJI SALVACION’S DIET
Another no-no for her is skipping meals.
For someone like Anji who loves eating, a diet does not always mean deprivation.
As she said, “Napaka-importante ang food. So you have to eat healthy. You have to eat three times a day.”
For those times she feels hungry, her technique is “drink water.”
Anji informed, “Akala mo lang gutom ka, pero uhaw ka lang pala,” and twice, she stressed the importance of eating.
“So all of the girls out there, don't skip meals, it will just destroy your body.
“Women are naturally, we have hormones, and it's really different from men.
“So mabilisan tayo tumaba kahit kumain tayo nang konti, kahit di tayo kumain.
“Kasi iba-iba yung pag-respond ng hormones natin kasi we are very different.”

ANJI SALVACION’S FITNESS ROUTINE
Meanwhile, she invests more time and energy in workouts and exercises.
Her top tip, “You might at least have 12,000 steps a day.
“It will help you in terms of losing weight if you want to lose weight.”
She repeated, “Twelve thousand steps a day.”
Anji continued, "I do workout, like bodyweight workout.
“Cardio, cardio is really best, you know, to release stress.
“And I do stretches and stuff, like yoga.
"Yoga is really good for, you know, stress reducing. And it's fun.”
But she warned the beginners, “Iiyak ka kung hindi ka pa naka-try, try mo…Maiiyak ka kasi malalabas yung bigat sa katawan mo.
"And it's about releasing, you know, bad energy."
While sharing her weight-loss tips, the young actress chuckled as her press conference turned into a health-oriented discussion.
In her one-on-one interview with PEP.ph, Anji admonished, "Just speaking from experience. It may be different for others. But really, the best way to lose weight is to do the healthy way."
