A slimmer Anji Salvacion graced the Star Magic Spotlight presscon on March 13, 2024, catching everyone's attention with her radiant presence.
At five feet six inches tall, she exuded the elegance of a beauty queen.
Hence, one of the questions asked by Tessa Mauricio-Arriola, The Manila Times entertainment editor, was about the possibilibity of joining a beauty pageant.
Anji, responding in a beauty-queen fashion, remarked, "I wanted to be there because I wanted to give that impact sa lahat ng taong nakakapanood na sa akin.
"And, you know, if you're an advocate of something, you should have a purpose.
"Yes. You should have a drive.”
Tessa’s follow-up question: “Is there something that you're advocating right now that you think babagay sa [beauty] contest?”
Anji replied, "Siguro po yung, um, you know, fighting for women…women empowerment.
"We stand side by side with each other, not putting each other down.”
She also would like to champion the welfare of kids.
“Malapit ako sa mga bata. Malapit sa puso ko yung mga bata.
"And I believe na, you know, we should be a better role model to them because these kids will be the future adults that our next generation will look up to.
“So, we should live, you know, we should live na with legacy.
“A good legacy for them na they could share din sa susunod na kapanahunan.”
So what is her final answer? It is a yes or no? The big winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10 just smiled.
Tessa threw in, “Puwedeng maybe.”
Anji settled for, “Maybe.”
ANJI SALVACION FOCUS ON MUSIC; NOT CLOSING DOORS TO ACTING
Transitioning to a discussion about music, Anji's enthusiasm became palpable.
On March 16, she proudly launched her album Grit at Gateway Cineplex in Cubao, Quezon City.
She said, “As of now, I am focusing on my music because it's the very first dream that I really had since 2019 when I joined Idol Philippines, and this is it.
“I am already starting with Grit, and I want to continue doing it because it's really my passion, and I am so excited to release more songs.”
Reyma Deveza of ABS-CBN News asked: How about acting projects?
"I am not closing my doors," she answered.
Despite the negative reactions to her portrayal in Linlang, Anji seemed unfazed.

Anji Salvacion may mensahe sa mga nang-bash sa kanya
Anji Salvacion: "If you think you hurt me, you didn't!"
Anji Salvacion: "I've read comments...I see myself as a work in progress."
She continued, “If there's audition, I will audition. If they will get me, thank God. If not, thank God because it's an experience and it's an opportunity for me to learn that, ‘Ah, so these are the things I should do.'"
How did she handle all the bashing?
"I don't handle them, but I handle how I react…move away because they're not worth my time, and they're not worth my precious moments, my precious feelings to be wasted on."
She would rather use her energy to improve herself.
In her one-on-one interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) Executive Editor Karen Caliwara, she said, "Instead of being affected by their comments, it's better to give yourself some push not just to feel better, but to be better.
"So the right mindset is, 'May nagawa ba akong hindi ba maganda or may puwede pa kong i-improve sa sarili ko.'"
