Ayon sa latest medical result ng karamdaman nitong rare autoimmune disease, bumuti na ang kanyang kalagayan.
Matatandaang noong August 3, 2023, inilahad ni Maiqui na na-diagnose siya ng dermatomyositis, isang "uncommon inflammatory condition characterized by muscle weakness and skin rash."

MAUIQI PINEDA "in clinical remission!"
Sa Instagram kahapon, December 15, 2024, nagbahagi si Maiqui ng magandang balita.
Hindi na raw kasi detectable ang sintomas ng kanyang medical diagnosis.
Saad niya (published as is), "The best early Christmas gift we could ever ask for - my doctor officially told me that I’m in clinical remission!
"Clinical remission means that the signs and symptoms of my autoimmune disease are now barely detectable, even if the disease may not be completely cured.
"In short - I’M OKAY! (raising hands emoji)"
Noong nakaraang buwan pa raw sila nasabihan ng doktor.
Dagdag niya, "Hearing those words during our trip to Singapore in November brought tears to our eyes, especially when my doctor called me a ‘Christmas miracle.’ (praying hands emoji)
"I’m beyond grateful for this gift and for the prayers and support that helped me keep going. Please know that it made a difference so THANK YOU! I have big plans for 2025, but for now, it’s time to enjoy the holidays with the people I love (heart emoji)"

ROBI DOMINGO ON HIS LOVE FOR WIFE MAIQUI PINEDA
Limang buwan bago sila ikasal ni Robi noong August 2023, isinapubliko ni Maiqui ang kanyang autoimmune disease.
Sa pamamagitan naman ng isang post sa Instagram noong buwang iyon, ibinahagi ni Robi ang kanyang roller coaster of emotions nang pumirma siya ng kontrata sa kanyang home network.
Kalakip pa nito ang mga kuha niyang mga litrato sa naganap na contract signing.
Mababasa sa post ni Robi (published as is), "What an emotional day.
"This moment has given me a deeper appreciation of what it is to be a KAPAMILYA.
"I just couldn't stop thinking about my fiancé and her condition while signing this contract.
"There has been that tug-of-war of feelings so maybe that's why the flood gates just kept pouring."
