Wherever he goes, exercise has been part of Piolo Pascual's daily routine.
So when he recently traveled to Europe for a vacation and to attend a short course on Christian Apologetics in Oxford University, Piolo never forgot to do his regular run.
“Of course, it's important that you take care of your health.
“Kaya nga even when I'm abroad, I make sure that I take care of myself, I exercise regularly, I eat right para prepared,” said Piolo during the press launch of Sun Life Financial Philippines' Money 4 Life campaign.
Piolo added that keeping a healthy lifestyle is also part of his “new life stage.”
“I have this new life stage which is preparing ahead life stage, bumabalik ka sa pag-aalaga sa sarili mo so that you'll be able to give back to the people that you love.”
Meanwhile, the Cobra Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship is set to happen in Cebu this August 7.
Piolo was not able to train religiously so he's not that confident about his performance.
But he said he's joining, and will be biking for Sun Life Team.
“I hope I'll be able to finish since I wasn't able to train since I have been away for a long time.
“I just wanna be able to finish."
Other celebs who will be there: Dingdong Dantes (bike), Gretchen Fullido (swim), Bubbles Paraiso (run), Sam YG (swim), and Anthony Pangilinan (bike) with his kids Hannah (swim) and Ella (run).
Joining the individual race are Matteo Guidicelli, Kim Atienza, Paul Jake Castillo, Ivan Carapiet, Dyan Castillejo, Xander Angeles, Gilbert Remulla, and Wilfred Uytengsu.
