Isabel Oli, who is pregnant with her second child, was not spared from body-shaming comments on Instagram.
During the long weekend, Isabel, husband John Prats, and their daughter Feather went to the beach.
Isabel and John both shared their family moments on the photo-sharing app.
The expectant mom wore two sets of bikinis, flaunting her baby bump in all its glory.
Unfortunately, these photos caught the attention of bashers and body shamers.
Isabel dealt with them in a separate Instagram post.
She wrote, "My husband posted a preggy photo of mine ‘cause he was happy and he can’t contain his excitement for the arrival of our prince @freedomprats.
"Little did he know that he would receive such rude, negative, and uncalled-for comments about my pregnancy. Hence, he turned-off the commenting section."
The actress-blogger clarified that she wasn't "mad" about the situation, but she felt disappointed that some people "can get so critical and judgmental even if they don't have the slightest idea about the actual situation."
Isabel then underlined that she is in good shape.
"I’m not sick or whatsoever. I’m still within my normal weight range, and as much as I want to work out, my OB doesn’t allow me for numerous reasons.
"Yes, I do have a BIG tummy (you may find the size 'abnormal,' but this is how my tummy looks even during my first pregnancy), however, there’s no need for you to be concerned.
"I'm perfectly fine."
Celebrity moms were quick to show their support.
Mothers of two Iya Villania and Sarah Lahbati assured Liv (Isabel's nickname) that she is an amazing mom.
Iya wrote, "You don't [owe] anyone an explanation. They don't know your story.
"You are amazing and Freedom and Life are the luckiest to have you!"
Sarah added, "You're beautiful, Liv."
Sister-in-law Camille Prats threw in, "You are beautiful and strong sissy!!!"
Mariel Rodriguez simply wrote, "BEAUTIFUL!!!!"
Nikki Valdez, Chynna Ortaleza, and Sherilyn Tan also dropped kind words for the wife of John.
LJ Reyes, Nadine Samonte, and Andi Manzano—who are also pregnant with their second babies—also sent their positive thoughts to Isabel.
Sunshine Garcia, a celebrity mom herself, said, "...Dedma sa basher."
Marjorie Barretto and Carmi Martin both expressed their love for Baby Freedom.
Meanwhile, John posted a short but sweet message to his wife.
He said, "My sexy buntis. I love you."
At the end of Isabel's Instagram post, she left a short message to her followers and bashers.
"Dear followers, thanks for your concerns. Now you know I’m fine. And oh, every woman is different and every pregnancy is different so pls stop comparing me to other hot mommas
"To my bashers, spread LOVE not hate. I guess the world will truly be a better place, if we all learn to be kind and truly love one another. Praying for all of us to feel the love, joy and peace from our Creator."
