Actress/content creator Ivana Alawi gave her fans a tour of her newly renovated kitchen in her latest vlog on YouTube last Saturday, December 11, 2021.
The 24-year-old Kapamilya actress explained in the video why she decided to change the design of her kitchen.
She said, "Okay din naman siya, ang problema lang, iniipis yung buong kusina.
"And matagal na namin plano na ipabago yung design."
Ivana took charge of the redesign of her kitchen, initially considering a white-and-gold palette and eventually deciding on a white-and-silver theme.
She said, "And alam mo, bilang interior designer ng pamilya... so, ako yung nag-design nitong kusina, ako yung in charge.
"Dahil alam ko din marami ang mahilig sa kusina... Actually, lahat kami dito mahilig magluto so ayun. Pag nakita mo yung kusina, 'Ang sarap magluto!'
"Yung busog ka na pero, 'Sh**, magluluto pa rin ako!'"
And as envisioned by Ivana, her new kitchen has more storage cabinets.
"Ang gusto ko kasi sa kusina yung minimalist. Yung wala masyadong laman, yung wala kang naikita, very malinis.
"Kaya kung napapansin niyo, tadtad siya ng cabinets kasi yan talaga yung pinasadya ko.
"Ayokong nakikita yung mga mixer, yung mga ganun, gusto ko lahat talaga nakatago.
"Gusto ko malinis lang sa mata."
Most of the overhead cabinets have lift-up doors, the easier her to reach for such stuffs as spices, snacks, and glassware.
She has three pantry cabinets that include this pull-out shelves where she stores her tea collection.
The marble floors, countertops, and cabinets are all white from top to bottom, "Mahilig kasi ako sa marbles and mahilig ako sa puti."
Her favorite plates and dinnerware with gold and butterfly details are stored in the drawer of her kitchen's center island.

Towards the end of the video, Ivana said she was very satisfied whit how her kitchen renovation has turned out.
The former StarStruck finalist said, "Happy naman ako sa outcome kasi dream kitchen ko talaga yung ganito.
