On February 1, 2025, ABS-CBN actor Donny Pangilinan posted a house tour vlog on his official YouTube channel, offering viewers an exclusive look at the impressive transformation of his living space.
Donny said at the beginning of his vlog:
"So this place right here means a lot to me because it was the very first investment I made.
"When I first entered showbiz, I really wanted... one of my goals to be able to purchase a place that I can call my own home, to have a place to rest, especially beside the city."
He admitted not giving the condo unit much focus when it was officially handed over to him as it was only his temporary lodging when he has work in Quezon City.
Otherwise, he was most of the time at his family's home in Cavite.
He said, "When I first got this place, I remember just dumping it with a bunch of stuff. I made it like a man cave.
"So hindi ko pinag-isipan masyado yung design, bahala na kung ano mangyayari kasi siyempre, first property ko, I really wanted to just play around with it."

The pandemic also kept him from spending time alone in his condo.
Donny said, "When the pandemic hit, medyo hindi na ako nag-stay dito kasi unang-una hindi ko kaya mag-stay sa loob ng condo na ako lang mag-isa.
"Siguro mababaliw ako, because I would really miss my family and friends. Also during that time, we couldn't really travel from one place to another.
"So I was in the south with my family and this place was just here."
MODERN, INDUSTRIAL CONDO
In the vlog, Donny revealed that he opted for a minimalist design in the makeover of his space, envisioning it with a modern and industrial aesthetic.
He explained, "Basically, when I get here, I want it to just be a place I chill, relax, think of maybe what movie I'm going to watch, and get ready for the next day of work."
Donny added, "You'll notice here sa condo to when we tour around, I went for a kind of modern, industrial feel.
"And I played around with cement. Because I really like a cement-feel condo. It feels kind of unfinished but not really. Gusto ko yung medyo plain lang pero hindi masyado plain. Gets mo?"
To create his ideal condo interiors, Donny collaborated with Oppein Philippines for the cabinet design and sourced furniture from Taylor Living and Design Story.
"I partnered with Oppein Philippines under the Casa Bella group. And they're an amazing group of people.
"They helped me conceptualize the whole design of this place. Basically the type of furniture I wanted, the type of cabinets, very important.
"The lighting, how does my kitchen look, what do I want to happen in the guest room, in the masters. Yeah, we just played around with it."
Donny also acknowledged his sister, Ella Pangilinan, an interior designer, for inspiring him to renovate his space.
"Shout-out to my sister Ella who studied interior designing. She's also a big reason why I wanted to redesign this place.
"She told me, 'Donny, maybe we could fix your condo because there's a lot we can do with it. We can make it more modern, more you. It could be a place that you could really call a nest.'"
DONNY PANGILINAN'S CONDO TOUR
Donny's tour kicks off at the entrance, where viewers are welcomed by a cabinet designated for storing shoes.
He explains that he prefers not to use outdoor shoes inside his home, saying, "I wouldn't allow shoes or anything inside kasi dapat malinis tayo."

To the left of the entrance is the kitchen.
Donny explained that he undertook a complete kitchen renovation, collaborating with Oppein Philippines for the cabinet design and incorporating floor-length mirrors to enhance the sense of space.

He also showcased his Fotile Range Hood, which aligns perfectly with his design theme. As per the brand's website, the range hood costs USD 999, roughly equivalent to PHP 57,817.69.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area, highlighted by Taylor Living's Klane Dining Table and Stefani Dining Chair. While there are no online pricing details for the dining table, the chairs are priced at PHP 30,000 each.

Donny has put on display a painting by his youngest sister, Solana, in the dining area, which he considers the perfect conversation piece for the spot.

The living room reflects Donny's love for an "unfinished concrete" style, with shelves for his Star Wars Lego toys.
The space features the Keelo Side and Coffee Table and the Wayne L-Shape Sofa from Taylor Living.
For ambient lighting, the Garreth Floor Lamp is perfect, aligning with Donny's preference for softer light.
This lamp costs PHP28,000 from Mirrino Lighting.

Donny has also transformed one of the two rooms into his office.
In this newly converted space, cabinets from Oppein Philippines offer ample storage.
The Brandon Floor Lamp, a space-saving addition at PHP18,000, provides a softer lighting.

Inside the office, Donny has included a Hansel three-seat sofa where he can relax after work.
Another stand-out feature in the room is a self-portrait he drew at the age of seven.

For the master bedroom, Donny has gone minimalist with only the essentials: a chair, a king-sized bed, some lighting, and cabinets.
One of his favorite spots is the nook next to his bed, where he often spends time working.
He said, "Ang una niyong makita dito is a chair from Design Story.
"Ito nilagay ko dito so that if I need to reply to messages or emails or texts before I sleep or when I wake up, then it's very important to have a place to do that kasi ayokong gawin sa kama yun."
This chair, called Hee Lounge Chair, is available at the Design Story for PHP7,000.

Naturally, Donny has a generously sized bed that comfortably accommodates him while he sleeps.
He explained, "Kasi 6'1" ako, e, so kailangan ko ng malaking kama."
For those who are curious, Donny's bed is also from Taylor Living, called Lucas bed, which comes with an estimated price tag of PHP144,000.
