Ashley Ortega clarifies that she isn’t "too OC" at home.
She simply prefers a tidy space, especially since their home serves as her sanctuary after long, exhausting workdays.
Ashley discusses this in her exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) on February 26, 2026, during the UNIQLO Jeans Spring/Summer 2026 showcase held at NOKAL in Makati City.
When asked about her favorite household chore, Ashley admits with a laugh, “I like washing the dishes.”
She elaborates: “I don’t know if I really like that chore… o baka dahil wala na talaga akong choice kundi gawin yun. Pero yung maghugas ng plato or maghugas ng jug—that’s something that I do almost every day. So yun.”
Another chore Ashley enjoys is tending to her dog Yoda’s needs, especially cleaning up after her fur baby and making sure he is well cared for.
"Isa sa mga favorite chore ko rin, ayan, to take care of my... ako nagpupulot ng poopoo at ng wiwi ng aso ko."
She continues, "I have a dog. Si Yoda. Yun talagang yung sometimes parang shucks ang hirap, pero, you know, I love my dog so much.
"So I know it's, it's my responsibility to take care of him, to feed him, to give him a bath. Parang chore na rin talaga sa akin yun, e."

But with pets at home, one common dilemma is the lingering odor they sometimes leave behind.

"Actually iyan, mga mop-mop lang iyan," she says.
