An unexpected cameo appearance included a reminder on smart spending.
This is what happened when Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero walked into his wife Heart Evangelista's walk-in closet as she was filming an Instagram Reel.
On Monday, January 17, 2022, Heart posted a series of Instagram Reels that began with her showing her outfit for the day.
To her surprise, Chiz came into her walk-in closet to check if the lights had been fixed.
As he was about to leave, Chiz noticed some changes in Heart's cabinet for her designer bags.
He asked the Kapuso actress, "Dumami na naman yung bag mo?"
Heart replied in defense, "Hindi ah! Nilagay ko kasi yung Chanel dito, pinalitan ko lang [yung placement]..."
Chiz then reminded her of their agreement when it comes to getting a new designer bag.
Chiz said, "Darling, tigil-tigilan na 'yan. Aalis ka. Bawas-bawasan. Makakabili ka lang kung magbenta ka."
Heart reassured him that she is planning to sell some pieces from her collection and said, "I'm gonna sell. I'll get rid of the normies and I'll upgrade to croc or ostrich..."
In a text written on the video, Heart further explained, "I am only allowed to buy another bag if I upgrade (sell old ones that don't give me spark anymore)
"He means well Wahahaaaaaaa."

The exchange between Heart and Chiz amused netizens and Heart's celebrity friends, who posted their reactions on her Instagram post.
Celebrity photographer BJ Pascual called dibs on Heart's bags as he commented, "Pa mine yung ibebentang bag [emojis]"
Miss World 2013 Megan Young was able to relate to Heart's sudden panic.
She said, "Omg!!! That conversation at the end is exactly what @mikaeldaez tells me about my keyboards [emojis] and I make the exact same face you do [emojis] I felt the level of panic hahaha"
Magandang Buhay host Jolina Magdangal burst into laughter and said, "Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Mag benta daw!"
Jolina's co-host Melai Cantiveros commented, "Kyuuuut"
Happy ToGetHer star Miles Ocampo wrote, "Cute mo, ate!! [emoji]
Heart's Instagram followers were also able to relate to her experience.
Heart has always been open about how her husband has been guiding her with her financial decisions.
In a vlog Heart uploaded last October 2018, Chiz revealed that he is giving his wife tough love when it comes to teaching her about financial responsibility. Chiz even recalled the first time Heart opened her very own bank account.
Addressing his wife, Chiz said, "In your case, I remember umiiyak ka nung pinapunta kita sa bangko para mag-fill out ng form.
"I wanted you to do it from the start. Open an account, sign your own checks, know the balances... You have to go through the nitty-gritty, so that you know exactly how much you're earning, and it'll hurt if you spend."
In the same vlog, Heart and Chiz opened up about having a pre-nuptial agreement and talked a little about their financial set-up at home.
Heart revealed that they do not have a joint account in the bank.
"I think it's good that we don't, because sometimes hindi ako makatakas, when I really want to be irresponsible and buy something.
"He'll always question my purchases, hindi ko naman daw kailangan. So, I'm very happy with that freedom that I don't have to share an account with him."
Heart and Chiz tied the knot on February 15, 2015, in Balesin.
