PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) mentions this to Sofia at the grand opening of Corso Como 88 in One Ayala Mall, Makati City, on January 15, 2024.
Delighted with the good comments, she exclaims, "Talaga? That's good!"
Sofia then elaborates on why she treasures her friendship with Kathryn and Sarah.
"Minsan lang may loyal and so I really want to take care of the both of them."
Sofia admits to being selective when it comes to choosing friends, but she feels fortunate that her personality naturally clicked with Kathryn and Sarah, making it easy for her to establish genuine connections with them.
She tells PEP.ph, "It wasn't that hard 'cause I'm also picky, I'm maarte with friends. At saka, you'll know... I think, instincts mo."

Sofia answers, "Madami, madami! We're super adventurous so that we forget the stress, ganun. That's what's important."

In the meantime, 2024 marks a significant year for Sofia as she reveals plans to be more active following a brief hiatus after her last series concluded in October 2023.
The Kapamilya actress confirms that she is currently busy working on a new movie project.
Sofia is particularly excited about her upcoming film following her last movie, Open (2019), which was directed by Andoy Ranay and headlined by JC Santos and Arci Muñoz.
The actress, however, keeps the details of her movie under wraps and simply expresses her excitement with the project, "I'm working on something new and I think it's gonna be different this year, which I'm super excited about."
Sofia also hints at numerous exciting prospects lined up for her in 2024.
However, she opts not to spill the details yet, and simply says, "I think, for me, this year is gonna be lucky."
