Netizens are amazed as Piolo Pascual has seemingly unlocked the secret to the fountain of youth.
Piolo has recently been active on social media, sharing updates on his recent projects—including the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 movie Mallari—and his latest campaign for Belo Beauty.
Comments on his posts highlight how remarkably youthful Piolo looks, especially considering he is now 47 years old.
As a celebrity, Piolo understands the importance of always looking his best — whether on- or off-cam.
"I think it comes with the territory," he told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an exclusive interview.
"You know, in campaigns like this, you always have to be ready."
PEP.ph interviewed Piolo during the fitness party hosted by Belo Beauty at Surge Fitness + Lifestyle in Glorietta 3, Makati City, where the launch of Belo Emface took place.
He continued, "The most important thing is to, of course, take care of your fitness, your health, so that whenever campaigns like this happen, you have to be ready, you have to be in tip-top shape.
"And, yeah, it's a good motivation for me to always present myself in the best way possible.
"And I've been with Belo for the last more than 20 years, so it's just natural that I take care of myself because I represent a brand that is really up there and has a good following.
"So that when you do campaigns like this, you don't have to worry about having to be ready or when you're going to be ready because, yeah, you're like on call, pretty much.
"But, yeah, it's a nice feeling to be able to do something like this and get the support from your friends and fans alike."
To maintain his appearance, Piolo has established a routine that aligns with his needs, making it a priority to begin his day with a workout.
He said, "Upon waking up, of course, after praying, I work out right away. So they're just out of the way.
"And then whatever I have to do, it's always after my fitness. And before you sleep, of course, you wash your face.
"And yeah, you just moisturize, and yeah, you sleep a good six to eight hours a night and you hydrate.
"So, that's just my simple regimen every day."
Piolo expresses gratitude for his regular visits to Belo Clinics, where he attends to his skin care and wellness needs.
