Magic Men Australia is poised to spread in Manila the magic of sensuality and the "art of seduction" this coming March 16-17, 2024, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.

From the moment the curtains rise, the stage becomes a playground of desire, where "Australia’s most anticipated men" captivate with their mesmerizing moves as the dancers strut, hip thrust, and body roll with irresistible charm.

On February 28, 2024, the global male entertainer group's headliners Will Parfitt, Carlos Fang, and Jeff Cornelius gave PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) an idea what to expect from a "wild and epic night-out" of a show.

They also set a few things straight about their line of work.

MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT MAGIC MEN AUSTRALIA SHOWS

MISCONCEPTION #1: MALE ENTERTAINERS HOOK UP WITH CLIENTS

Will forthrightly tackled the prevailing stereotype, revealing, "Well, a lot of people, a lot of women think that we're all going to be sleazebags that just want to have sex and don't do anything.

"But most of the guys are not actually sleazebags. We try our best not to be."

He added, "In fact, a lot of guys purposely put effort into avoiding that image.

"So, after the shows, all the guys are willing to hung out and take photos with the girls and have a chat with them.

"And that's what made our tour—especially that tour across Canada—a lot of good feedback we got was about how we interacted with them after the show, because we hung out for most shows.

"We hung out for about an hour after the show, having a chat because there was just so many people there and we're so grateful for having such a big crowd."

MISCONCEPTION #2: MAle entertainers are ARROGANT PERFORMERS

Meanwhile, Carlos candidly addressed the misconception of arrogance, expressing, "I think the biggest misconception probably, there's so many misconceptions about our industry.

"Especially with like how our social media is, and a lot of the guys just post content from the stage show or like them topless."

He continued: "So a big misconception could be that they're arrogant or up themselves.

"But a lot of girls are actually shocked that come to our show. Girls and guys are shocked when they come to our show, how humble we are and how much we actually just appreciate everyone being there.

"That's why we spend the extra time taking photos. And some shows, we literally take a photo with every single person in that crowd.

"So probably most of our shows we do. So, yeah, that's just definitely a misconception."

MISCONCEPTION #3: MAGIC MEN AUSTRALIA'S SHOWS ARE STRICTLY FOR LADIES

Carlos clarified Magic Men's slogan, stating, "It's advertised almost or like it's our slogan is like we're ‘Australia's biggest Ladies Night,’ but that that's just the slogan.

"Obviously everyone can come to our show. And not only that, we get guys up on stage, we get everybody up on stage.

"So like anyone who comes to our show is just a part of the vibe, a part of the atmosphere. Everybody is welcome at our show."

Seconding Carlos' answer, Will echoed, "Yeah, we want to promote the LGBT community. We want to celebrate love, and, you know, we want to support everyone out there in the community."

Citing examples, Jeff recalled, "It's sometimes almost actually funny because the guys sitting in the crowd end up getting more attention than some of the girls do.

"That's actually the way it works.

"When there's a guy, we actually purposely will prioritize the guy because we know that it's going to make everyone feel comfortable.

"You know, when that guy goes on stage, the whole crowd will cheer, enjoy and laugh and actually kickstart our night even more. So if anything, we encourage it."

MAGIC MEN AUSTRALIA ON "STRIPPING" AS A PROFESSION

According to Will, just like other professions, stripping demands skills and experience to become the best at it.

He imparted a compelling anecdote about overcoming a performance challenge, recounting an experience with a blind person at a recent show.

He related, "You know, actually funny enough, I didn't tell, neither of you would know this, but at Magic Men last weekend, there was a blind person. The first blind person I've ever seen come to Magic Men.

"She sat in the front row and I was hosting that night and I had to make sure that I knew she couldn't experience the sense of sight to enjoy that show.

"So, it was a challenge for me because for the first time, I had to think how can I make sure she felt included when she couldn't see the show— and a big part of the show is seeing the men naked.

"We had to make efforts going around checking with her, making sure she could touch the guys, she could hear the guys that we were talking to her.

"And checking up on her throughout the evening and that she could still, you know, experience the show through other senses.

"So yeah, it doesn't really matter what background or your disability or what nature, we will always make an effort if you feel that you can come to our show and accept us for what we do."

MAGIC MEN AUSTRALIA's RULES DURING THE SHOW

As for setting boundaries during the group's performances, Carlos emphasized, "Most of the time, the basic rules are no scratching, no biting, no slapping.

"Basically, it's all the things that would leave the mark is just out of bounds."

Jeff mentioned, "If anyone on the stage is acting maybe overzealous or too boisterous, then we also don't really like that either.

"It can often disrupt the show or the act that I was trying to put on. So those are basically the rules."

Carlos concluded, "But around that, if everyone's being respectful, then yeah, then most things do apply. There's a lot of touching and a lot of interaction.

"But again, it all depends on which city we're in and if there's different rules there.

"Like when we're in Canada, we had to just make sure we had to check with all the different cities we're in.

"For the most part, as long as there's no scratching, biting, clawing or slapping and no over-the-top behavior, then it's good."

Beyond the stage, the Magic Men offer private bookings, providing fans with the opportunity for one-on-one time with their favorite performers—a chance to indulge in the ultimate fantasy.

Tickets for Magic Men Australia Live in Manila are available through Ticketworld, offering exclusive access to two nights of pulse-pounding entertainment that promises to leave a lasting impression.
