Limang taon nang hindi aktibo sa showbiz si Jade Lopez, at mas abala na siya sa pagma-manage ng business nila ng kanyang mister na si Rocky Siccion.
Ito ay ang RockRed Corporation, isang vehicle transport company na nagpapa-rent ng iba’t ibang sasakyan—from SUV, coasters and buses—as shuttle services sa ilang government and private companies.
Sa naging panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kay Jade via Facebook Messenger last December 1, 2024, ikinuwento niyang business na raw ito ni Rocky noong teenager pa lang siya.
“The company originally started when my husband was just 19 years old. It was operating under the umbrella of their mother company.
“About seven years ago, bago kami ikinasal, we decided to branch out and establish our own market.
“It's my husband's passion for the automotive industry that inspired us to pursue this business.”
Unti-unti raw lumaki ang business nilang mag-asawa.
“Nagsimula muna kami with three units, and now we’ve grown to manage a full fleet. The business is doing very well,” pagmamalaki ni Jade.

Pero hindi smooth sailing parati ang kanilang vehicle transport business.
Sabi ng StarStruck Season 1 alumna, nakaranas silang mag-asawa ng iba’t ibang pagsubok.
“The service and transport industry is one of the most challenging businesses to manage.
“It’s a highly interpersonal nature, iba-iba kasi ang needs and expectations ng bawat customers.
“It also requires significant capital investment and obtaining legal permits, tulad sa LTFRB and tourism franchises. It can be a complex and time-consuming process.”
Malaking bagay na na-lay na yung ground work, lalo na sa pagkuha ng prangkisa at permits.
Ibig sabihin, may idea na sila sa gagawin.
At bukod sa financially rewarding ang business nila, nakakabuo sila ng network of clients na malaking tulong sa pag-expand ng kanilang negosyo.
Ani Jade, “It offers the opportunity for us to meet people from diverse backgrounds and walks of life.
“Kaya may plans kami to expand our business. We want to explore new markets, and embrace opportunities for us to learn more and grow.”
Kung may advice si Jade sa kapwa niya celebrity na gustong pasukin ang tulad ng business nila, importante raw na may passion ka sa ganitong negosyo at handa kang harapin ang anumang pagsubok ng industriya.
“Starting a business in the service and transport industry is something anyone can pursue, as long as they have the passion and the willingness to learn.
“Ang importante ay open ka to gaining new knowledge, understanding the intricacies of the industry, and of course, being patient with its challenges.”

Isa pang naging challenge kay Jade ay ang pag-juggle ng kanyang time between managing their business at sa pag-asikaso sa kanyang asawa at mga anak.
Tatlo ang anak nina Jade at Rocky: sina Rinoa, 4; Rohan, 2; at Rhaegar, na one year old pa lamang.
“Since well-established na yung business, it doesn’t take up too much of our time.
“My husband oversees the operations and handles any issues na puwedeng dumating, kaya siya yung mas busy.
“We also bring our kids to the office para ma-expose din sila sa business environment ng mommy at daddy nila.”

Nasa plano rin ni Jade na bumalik sa showbiz dahil nami-miss na raw niyang umarte.
Paglahad niya, “In January 2025, mapapanood nila ako sa three-episode series sa Tadhana.
“Yes, I am back after almost 5 years. I recently signed with CreaZion Studios under their management wing with Sir Jon Verzosa. I’m excited to work again on TV.”
Ang huling teleserye na nagawa ni Jade sa GMA-7 ay Bihag noong 2019.
