JOJ'S HUSBAND, A GOOD PROVIDER

“I’m really blessed. I’m really grateful to have a man that’s providing for me,” tila nahihiyang sambit ni Joj, sabay yakap sa asawa.

“As guys, I like paying for the check, depends on what culture you’re in.”

“It’s very nice when women offer to pay for the check. But, guys, that doesn’t mean you should let her pay for the check,” dugtong ni Danny.

“To see you like sleeping four, four and a half, five hours for weeks on end was pretty crazy,” sambit ni Danny sa busy schedule noon ni Joj.

“And you were always finding time to meet… even when you’re working on long hours, and training, and everything you were doing."

Sabi ni Danny: “So it’s been really nice for me to transition into a role where you can finally take a little breather, and we still both do a lot of work.

“I love to work. I’m a workaholic. I work for myself. I work from home, so I’m always working.”

“And you’re working, too. But you’re more now taking care of the house.”

JOJ AND DANNY ON EXPENSES

Sabi niya: “Don’t hide the fact that because one person is this role, and the person is this role, that you should hide how much things cost, and you should spend too much on vacations.

“It’s gonna create stress and tension, and that tension will build up into conflict usually."

Dagdag ng lalaki, “We’re fortunate that neither of us are like wanting to spend that kind of money.”

“Because converting, sometimes [from] Philippine peso to US dollars, it’s quite a lot…

“It’s kinda new to me… ‘Wow, it’s so expensive here.’ But as time goes by, we learn how to budget everything: grocery, food we eat… we eat quality food.”

Hirit ni Danny, "But sometimes I like to spend it.”

Sabi niya, “In many ways, it’s a first world country. And, yes, some things are very expensive and you can spend a lot of money easily here. But you can also live in a budget.”

There’s a lot of ways to save a lot of money… to eat really well, and dress really well, live really well.

“I don’t think you need to spend a lot of money."

Sumang-ayon dito si Joj.

“So we’re just managing it,” sabi ng former PBB housemate.

“I appreciate Danny so much because I’m still trying to grow my account here in the U.S., even though I’m starting from scratch.

“But he’s guiding me and everything because he has a lot of experiences when it comes to marketing strategy and everything.

"So ,he’s helping me plan my content, organize my life, basically.”
