Liza Soberano's simple quest for wellness becomes a business, which she plans to turn into an empire.

She is used to being admired for her beauty, but Liza Soberano is proving she is more than just a pretty face.

She’s among the busiest stars, but, “I also work a lot at home.”

The lady does household chores, mops the floor, and literally keeps her hands busy.

And while she’s grateful for the perks of having a glamorous career, Liza has been finding ways to address the stress that comes with it.

“There came a point when I was really exhausted not because I wasn’t happy with what I was doing.

"But working long hours a day can really get tiring.”

She learned “meditation” eight months ago from an aunt who lives in the United States.

“I started meditating more often.

"I wish I could be able to do it more as much as I’d like to.

"But because I’m so busy I’m not able to do it every day.

“But as much as possible, I do.”

She said to help her fall asleep, she applies oils—particularly lavender. For her skin, she likes frankincense.

From simply finding ways of making herself feel good after a hard day’s work, Liza thought of making it an “advocacy.”

“They just see me as a beautiful person, but I wanna jump into the core of what makes a person beautiful, and I believe that is wellness.

“Because if you feel good about yourself, if you’re healthy, then you will receive that beautiful glow.

“You can go through each day, even if you’re stuck in a traffic… “

HOPE FOR WELLNESS. In less than five years in the business, Liza has accomplished a lot.

At 19, the young actress wishes to have something more than the lemonade stand and Willie Wonka’s candy factory that she and her brother used to dream about.

“I want to be a platform for most Filipinos who aren’t educated enough about wellness rituals,” she said, eyeing to launch her own brand of oils.

But she wants to take it one step at a time, starting with hands and feet, which are usually the most tired parts of the body.

Her venture, Hope Hand and Foot Welness, located at 74 Creekside Square on Tomas Morato Avenue in Quezon City, opened to selected press yesterday, December 10.

Its grand opening will be on December 15, 2017.

Liza commented on the spa's blush pink interiors, “I want it to be clean, not too feminine."

She added, “All services are very neutral.”

She has something for everyone, those who are “pro-active... the little prince and princess.”

Even for the grandparents, and the gents.

Wellness, she said, is for everyone.

“It is forever. You can do whenever you want and wherever you want.

“Wellness knows no age; knows no gender; knows no walk of life.

If you feel stressed out, you simply gotta find a way to deal with it."

She can't be hands-on all the time but, yes, Liza will be around at her spa.

“I’d like to check on my Hope girls. I’d like to check on how the services are.”
