Angel Locsin recently fulfilled one of her dad's biggest dreams for her: To own a beachfront property.

Last Saturday, January 5, Angel shared a photo at the beach. It was taken in Talisayen Cove, Zambales, one of the popular beaches near Manila. She was with her father Angelo Colmenares and siblings.

The 33-year-old Kapamilya star wrote in the caption, "Little by little, I'm ALMOST there to fulfill my father's and now, my dream as well, to have a place where we can spend time as a family while being able to preserve the beauty of nature..."

Angel further thanked her fans for their consistent support through the years.

She continued, "I don’t post stuff like this, but this became possible BECAUSE OF YOU guys so I feel you deserve to know that by giving me a chance in this world, your kindness and love has done wonders to our lives.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and select members of the press, Angel admitted that it was really her dad's idea to get a beachfront property.

She said, "Si Daddy ang [may] gusto talaga. Ayoko kasi, gusto ko ng farm.

"Si Daddy yung nagsabi sa akin. Hindi ako makapag-no sa tatay ko kasi mahilig siya sa mga ganun, e."

PEP.ph caught up with Angel at the press conference of her latest prime-time series The General's Daughter on Thursday night, January 10, at Restaurant 9501 in ABS-CBN, Quezon City.

She eventually fell in love with the property.

Her next plan is to build an eco-friendly shelter in the area where she can relax with her family.

"Wala pa siyang house, kung pansin mo sa earlier posts ko, nag-pitch ako ng tent.

"So ano talaga siya, roughing it. Pero kung gusto mo maka-experience na yung talagang nature talaga, survival, ganyan,

"Walang signal, walang kalye, kailangan mo magbangka, doon yung perfect place.

"So kung nature lover ka, gusto mong mag-escape lang sa life, doon yung perfect spot," Angel disclosed.

The General's Daughter star also said she just might keep the property as is to preserve its natural beauty.

She added, "I don't want to develop it, but I want to siguro gumawa ng maliit na shelter na eco-friendly.

"'Tapos, konting-konting grounds and magtanim ng puno at alagaan yung dagat. Ayoko kasing i-disturb yung natural beauty niya, e.

"Kung bibili ako ng ganito kagandang lugar, I don't want to damage para lang kumita.

"Kasi nabalitaan ko, magkakaroon din ng kalye dun so made-develop na siya, so ang daming mga subdivision na bumibili ulit.

"So masisira yung nature, e."
