Rica Peralejo took a moment to pay tribute to her husband, Pastor Joseph Bonifacio, on Father's Day, June 16.
In an Instagram post, the celebrity mom particularly saluted her husband for being her heroic partner in the birth of their second son, Manu.
She began her post with an anecdote before giving birth... "there were about eight people who received dreams pertaining to the upcoming birth..."
But the former teen actress focused on two: the dream of her husband Pastor Joseph's and the dream of a friend from Japan that seemed to carry the same message.
"In my husband's dream we had to cross a river which I once crossed before.
"The message was that he had to carry me through it as I lead the way.
"Meanwhile, our Japanese friend dreamt that they were to push my husband up as he carries me up on his shoulders while we ascend Mt. Fuji. We are supposed to give birth on top.
"In it I again knew the way, but my husband had to carry me on our way.
"In both dreams, the common thing was I knew the way but my husband is to carry me for success."
On the day of Rica's home birth, the message of the two dreams was fully realized.
She wrote: "I gave birth standing up and because I was midway a walk to the bathroom when the overwhelming bearing down came over me that my husband had to catch me and carry me as Manu's head popped out!
"At that point, my legs felt so weak and surprised with the sheer power of a child coming through that they became jello and the only way I could recover and regain enough power was if my husband kept me up in his strong arms.
"So indeed, I knew the way, but Joseph carried me. I gave birth while he was, with all his strength and might, propping his entire wife up as she was delivering a baby!"
Rica described this moment as "one of our best memories" and "also, one of our best truths."
She said, "Since day one as husband and as father, the weight you had to carry for us was no easy feat but you do it with no hesitation and with all of who you are.
"How could we all hold up without you?
"To our leader, happy father’s day and we love and look up to you so much!"
