So far, the pregnancy of Jade Lopez has been a breeze.
Currently five months pregnant, her pregnancy symptoms have been manageable save for intermittent mood swings.
One time, she chanced upon Solenn Heussaff’s Instagram Story, where she was flaunting her baby bump.
The Filipina-French actress-singer is seven months pregnant.
In Jade’s message to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) through Facebook chat, she confessed, “Luckily, wala akong masyadong mood swings. Meron lang one incident na nakita ko ang Instagram Story ni Solenn Heussaff.
“Pinakita niya yung baby bump niya at super sexy pa rin siya!
“Bigla akong umiyak sa asawa ko. Sabi ko, ‘Bakit ang sexy ni Solenn?’”
The StarStruck Batch 1 avenger is usually cheerful, but for some reason, she was so affected by Solenn’s photo.
She continued, “It was unusual for me na malungkot dahil hindi naman ako ganun.”
When she also turned 32 on October 22, she also got emotional.
“Noong second trimester ko namang mood swings, nagkaroon lang ako ng birthday blues.
“Naiyak lang ako out of nowhere. “I don't know why, but so far, yun lang at walang mga mainit ang ulo or anything like that.”
According to whattoexpect.com, mood swings are normal, and may be caused by "physical stresses, fatigue, and changes in metabolism or hormones, particulalrly, estrogen and progesterone."
The latter can affect the level of "neurotransmitters, which are brain chemicals that regulate mood."
Jade and her husband Rocky Siccion tied the knot on October 22, 2018, at the Manila Cathedral.
