Assunta de Rossi is now five months pregnant.
The celebrity mom-to-be had a prenatal check-up and was happy to know that her miracle baby is growing healthy.
While the gender has yet to be revealed, the baby's heartbeat, weight, and size are all good.
Assunta said in her Instagram update (published as is): "I'm feeling a bit emotional because the last time I had a scan, the baby was as small as a jellybean, if not smaller. It's the fear of not knowing.
"But I survived my 1st and 2nd trimester during a pandemic and lockdown without any complications! Cheers!"
For 16 years, Assunta and her husband Jules Ledesma have prayed for this baby.
Getting pregnant at the age of 37 is a "miracle," according to the actress.
The Filipina-Italian star also conceived the natural way despite having myoma, a benign tumor in or around the uterus, and endometriosis, a disorder in which the lining of the uterus grows outside of the uterus.
Jules has two children of his own with his late wife Cristina Tsung Pek. They are Cristina, 29, and Carlos, 24.
