meghan markle's Miscarriage
Meghan's pregnancy comes months after her miscarriage in July 2020.
The actress turned royalty contemplated on this personal loss in an essay she wrote for the New York Times in November 2020.
Meghan, whose last outing as an actress was in the television legal drama, Suits, pointedly related her own pain to the tragic losses due to pandemic.
She realized the path to healing can begin when someone who cares enough ask, "Are you ok?"
Meghan said in her piece: "We have learned that when people ask how any of us are doing, and when they really listen to the answer, with an open heart and mind, the load of grief often becomes lighter—for all of us. In being invited to share our pain, together we take the first steps toward healing."
