Willie Revillame is overjoyed with the arrival of another grandchild, a baby boy named Gido.
His daughter Meryll Soriano gave birth in December 2020.
Willie said during a press meet that the baby is one of the blessings he has received during the pandemic.
Baby Gido, Meryll's son with Joem Bascon, is Willie's second grandchild after Elijah, Meryll's 13-year-old son with former husband Bernard Palanca.

Talking about his grandchildren, Willie was obviously enthralled, revealing his hopes to be their best buddy ever as they grow up.
"Pag dinadala sa akin ni Meryll yung bata, ito yung mag-aalaga sa akin, yung mga batang yun. Parang feeling ko ganun, ito yung gusto kong...
"Hindi lang lolo, hindi lang apo, parang kaibigan mo, kabarkada mo yung mga apo mo.
"Kung ano yung nakikita mo sa akin on TV, parang gusto ko ganun. Yung iniinis mo, yun ang gusto ko, e, parang ganun."
Willie was interviewed by PEP.ph and other members of the press on Monday, February 22, 2021 at his launch as endorser of Shopee.
Asked what he usually buys for his apo on shopping apps, Willie said Meryll does all the buying for Baby Gido's needs.
He told the press, "Meron naman siya... Binibigyan ko naman siya ng pera kung ano yung kailangan niya.
"E, hindi ko kasi masyado kabisado kung ano yung kailangan niya, sigurado yung mga pang-baby pa, yun naman.
"Pero si Meryll na yung binibigyan ko ng pambili ng kailangan niya para kay... Si Gido, two months old pa lang yung bata, e. Ang father nun si Joem."
Pressed to answer what would it be should he decide to get something for Baby Gido, Willie quipped, "Brief siguro."
He seemed serious as he explained, "E, iyan ang kailangan. Brief, lampin sa ngayon. Yun ang kailangan nung bata sa ngayon, may tsupon na, e."
Willie was also looking far ahead, saying, "Siyempre yung future naman nila. Kung ano man ang meron ako, sa kanila naman mapupunta yun, e, di ba?
"Sa pamilya mo, kay Meryll, sa mga anak nila. So yun lang."
