Dancer-turned-vlogger Riva Quenery, 22, is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Vern Flores Ong, 25.
Before being known as a vlogger, Riva was a former member of the girl group GirlTrends.
She is also an actress and has appeared on several ABS-CBN shows, such as Ipaglaban Mo, The House Arrest of Us, and Make It With You. Her YouTube channel now has over 2.1 million subscribers.
Vern, on the other hand, is a social-media influencer and also a vlogger. He has over 197,000 followers on Instagram. His YouTube channel called Ong Brothers, which he shares with his older brother Van, has over 138,000 subscribers.
The couple made the announcement on their social media accounts on Sunday, May 16, 2021 by uploading their photos along with the ultrasound image of their baby.
Riva wrote in the caption of her post, "The butterflies he used to give me turned into tiny feet [emoji]."

For his part, Vern said, "THE GREATEST BLESSING."

That same day, Riva also uploaded a video of her pregnancy announcement on YouTube, where it has generated over 1.1 million views at press time.
In her vlog, Riva looked back on her career as a dancer, singer, and actress for ABS-CBN. She was also grateful for all the blessings that came her way, including her baby.
She said, "Binigyan ako ni Lord ng first-ever solo concert sa SM Skydome na grabe ang suporta ng mga tao. Nakasali ako sa World of Dance sa L.A.
"Nagkaroon ako ng first-ever single at na-perform ko iyon sa YouTube Fanfest sa MOA Arena. Nagkaroon ako ng TV exposures na akala ko puro sayaw lang ang gagawin ko sa TV. Nakatulong ako sa mga taong nangangailangan.
"Nakapag-travel ako sa mga lugar na hindi ko akalaing mapupuntahan ko sa edad ko dahil akala ko mga 30 years old ko pa mapupuntahan iyong mga lugar na iyon.
"Nagkaroon ako ng loving and faithful na boyfriend, bought my first-ever car, and, of course, a house. So I said Lord, 'Grabe na iyong blessings Niyo. Thank You po dahil sa tingin Niyo deserve ko lahat ng ito.'
"Pero, hindi pa pala natatapos si Lord dun. He gave me another blessing."
Riva and Vern have been together for two years. They celebrated their second anniversary in April 2021.
In a vlog dated April 26, 2019, Riva introduced Vern as a suitor on her YouTube channel. At that time, Vern has been courting her for around five to six months.
A few months later, the couple revealed that they are officially together in a vlog dated August 14, 2019, on Riva's channel.
