New parent Janella Salvador is in fighting form and ready to shield her baby boy, Jude Trevor, from bashers.
In her interview with Magandang Buhay last July 2, 2021, the Kapamilya actress recalled how furious she was at comments putting down her baby, who was just five months old then.
She said, "Actually, at first, yung reaction ko when I saw it was... Hindi ko alam yung mafi-feel ko, kasi parang, 'Ano ba ito? Joke ba ito?'
"Why would you joke about it? Yun yung una kong naging reaction. And then, eventually, parang na-realize ko, it's not right. Hindi tama."

Janella said she is prepared to take their son's bashers to court to teach them a lesson.
She said, "Kailangan, kung sino man 'to, matutunan niya yung lesson niya, kasi ako naman, sanay na ako sa pambabash.
"Lahat naman tayo in the industry pero... if it's directed at me, sige, okay lang, dededmahin ko. Pero huwag naman sa anak ko na walang kamalay-malay.
"Kasi if he can't fight for himself, I'm gonna fight for him."
Star Magic, the talent management arm of ABS-CBN handling the careers of both Janella and Markus, also warned it would take legal action against Baby Jude's bashers.
HANDS-ON DAD
Meanwhile, Janella expressed gratitude to her partner Markus for being a loving dad to Baby Jude.
She told the Magandang Buhay hosts, "He's very hands-on. Never ko na feel sa kanya na parang ayaw niya yung nangyari... hindi siya naging distant ever kay Jude.
"Ever since from the start, he was there ready to help and ready to learn so many new things as a dad. Yung talagang eager siya to learn how to become a good dad.
"Alam niyo yung basta-basta lang nandiyan siya, you know, nakatayo lang siya... gusto niya yung marunong siya magpalit ng diaper, marunong siya sa lahat.
"So kahit iwan ko si Jude sa kanya, kampante ako. I feel safe."

However, Janella said she and and Markus have different child-rearing styles, and this has become a source of minor conflicts between them.
She said, "Minor things like yung pagkakarga niya, minsan inaano ko. Like, 'Ano ba? Don't make ipit his tummy, he's gonna make suka.'
"Yung mga ganun, parang ganun lang. Pag sinisita ko siya, pag meron siya maliit na detail na kasi, as a mom, minsan feeling mo no one can do it better than you.
"Yung kunware, kahit kaya naman nila paliguan, kaya nilang pakainin, feeling mo kapag ikaw yung gumawa, mas iba.
"Parang ganun yung feeling ko minsan. Yun lang naman yung pinagtatalunan namin."
Janela and Markus first dated in 2019.
In June 2020, rumors about Janella's pregnancy with Markus' child made headlines. In October 2020, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) reported that Janella had given birth.
Janella and Markus only confirmed the reports on January 5, 2021, through a vlog on YouTube.
