Is Jake Ejercito back in Siargao?
The Star Magic artist hints in his recent Instagram story that he and daughter Ellie Eigenmann are "back" in the beach island.
Jake was first spotted in Siargao in March 2021 when he had to pick up Ellie from her mother Andi Eigenmann.
Andi, Jake's former girlfriend, is currently based in the island along with her partner Philmar Alipayo and their kids Lilo and Koa.
And this month, Lilo celebrated her second birthday.
Based on Andi's Instagram post on July 21, Ellie arrived in time for the celebration.
Lilo had her party at The Greenhouse in Siargao.
Current co-parenting DUTIES
Jake revealed in an interview last April 2021 that it was Andi who asked him if it was okay for him to bring Ellie to Siargao instead of her flying out to Manila.
"Kasi nga, considering si Andi may bagong baby, she has Lilo also, mahihirapan siya kung siya pa ang magdadala dito kay Ellie.
"Nakiusap sa akin si Andi kung puwede ko sunduin si Ellie, and that's what I did."
That marked Jake's first time in Siargao. It was memorable trip because he was able to have Ellie as his personal tour guide.
Aside from that, the Marry Me, Marry You met Andi's family.
"Si Lilo na-meet ko na dito sa Manila, and then the youngest si Koa, I met there in Siargao and also si Philmar. It was also first time na I met him when I was there."
How's his co-parenting relationship with Andi?
Jake mentioned in one of his social media posts that he and Andi are "great co-parents."
But he acknowledged in the same interview that it didn't start out smooth: "Siyempre before, immature pa kami and everything. So, medyo malayo din ang nilakbay bago naging ganito ka-settle and smooth…
"And what's good about now is parang kasi ang priority namin is what's good for Ellie. Iyon ang motivation namin, si Ellie."
